Exactly, we have been saying this for months but the developer of this website doesn't seem to care. Right now nobody uses any on-chain betting because its just way too slow, too easy to cheat, and too expensive.
If you really want to continue using on-chain bets then at least change to a different cryptocurrency with much lower fees and faster block times like maybe ETH.

I also second to that suggestion. Accepting other currencies is a must because bitcoin network clogs a lot. Time matters when betting in this site with just few seconds of delay, you can lose your bet already. It happened many times every times already, if you also consider Doge, maybe you can also consider DASH. ITs value is very decent nowadays so its going to be perfect for users who have also invested to it, there are a lot of us.

To be honest, we do not have many developers. However, we will continue to develop the site. Its fine not having much developers or developing experience, because you can always out source your work. However leaving this website the way it is, is very bad for your business due to what is going on with Bitcoin. Since the mining farms are resistant to any SegWit or Bitcoin Unlimited changes, the transaction fees will keep going up and up. So far its already almost a $1 for a simple 1 input 2 output transaction. Every 3 months, bitcoin is growing more and more and it will only get more and more expensive and pretty soon , it will be very expensive to use your website. You need to keep in mind that when someone bets, they send BTC to you. So $1 in fees. If they win, you need to send BTC back to them another $1 in fees. This isn't very smart. Its a huge waste of money. |
