So based on Dogedarkdev's logic there was absolutely no reason for Silk Road to hide the location(s) of their nodes and servers. Umm hmm..

I think I'll pass. Believing there is security where there is none or security is diminished is worse than no security at all.

OK I'm going to try  and explain it to you again. NONE OF YOUR LISTED NODES ARE EXIT NODES!! THEY ARE RELAYS TO OTHER NODES THAT ARE EXIT NODES.

Unless you have an exit policy that specifically says to only pass port 21102 then you are NOT an exit node.

Per The TOR FAQ a relay MUST pass all traffic to other nodes on it's way to an exit node.

"All outgoing connections must be allowed, so that each relay can communicate with every other relay.

In many jurisdictions, Tor relay operators are legally protected by the same common carrier regulations that prevent internet service providers from being held liable for third-party content that passes through their network. Exit relays that filter some traffic would likely forfeit those protections.

Tor promotes free network access without interference. Exit relays must not filter the traffic that passes through them to the internet. Exit relays found to be filtering traffic will get the BadExit flag once detected."

So by telling your relays to only pass DOGED traffic you are basically telling them to invite themselves to a "BadExit flag"

Keep telling yourself "My nodes are not exit nodes, they are exit relays. My nodes are not exit nodes, they are exit relays." The actual exit nodes make their own rules as to what is passed to the clearnet. Unless your nodes are set up as actual exit nodes then you are passing ALL traffic to other relays whether they are exit nodes or not.

The atlas entries show that at least the 2 nodes we are discussing are NOT exit nodes.

the nodes listed above are relay nodes, relaying from tor node to our other doged nodes.
wallet(sock)>tor doged node>doged clearnet node
wallet(sock)>i2p doged node>doged clearnet node
stick around and you'll learn something.

you seem passionate though, and its appreciated ;]

Something very interesting is happening now DogeCoinDark started to get noticed. You got a coin that's basically trading for free completely private untraceable delivering something that many in the top 50 in market cap have promised (that's the reason they were expensive to begin with) and NOT delivered and most promising anonymity don't even understand what can and can't be achieved.

bitpeep does seem genuinely interested in what Doged has achieved but seems like he looks for "invisibility" I wonder if he has heard of CryptoNote coins before Grin (although other coins have also promised the same thing). Talking about CryptoNote their coins prime promise is complete "stealth mode" but as even Startrek teaches us it's impossible (you can trace even teleportation in Startrek Wink) in real scenario what you can do is reduce your footprint from a football stadium size to a tennis ball size in their "stealth mode".

DogeCoinDark on the other hand focus on privacy for those concerned about privacy it's not making it looking like something never happened when it did happen and everyone saw it happening we can't say it didn't happen it's ridiculous to think that and trying to tell all who saw it never happened Cheesy but it's keeping the identity of those involved completely private untraceable period.

DogeCoinDark has hit a worldseries walk-off home run and still somehow many can't see it!

@bitpeep

Seriously? What is your malfunction?

Let's just imagine everything you said was correct. Wouldn't a PM been a better way to address this?

If your trying to help a different approach is suggested. Asking like a spoiled 12yr old helps nobody.

hey just a quick update, a vulnerability was discovered in unek's irc tip bot.

two of our community members made me aware there was an exploit discovered in it, as another coins tip bot was "robbed" in their irc chat.

i have taken our bot down temporarily, and all of the coins are safe.

a few of us are working on the tipbot source on github and should have it patched very soon =]

big thanks to our infosec-minded community members, buzz and Jahus, for their quick sharing of the information.

without them notifying me, who knows what could have happened. thanks guys!

if anyone would like to take a look at the source code (nodejs) or the issue itself, here it is:

https://github.com/unek/node-tip-bot/issues/17

hope everyone had a great christmas, and continues to have a great weekend!

ill be working on and off throughout the weekend, so feel to drop me a pm if you need me, or message me in our chat room (dogedDEV)
