well bensam with spreadcoin you make more than whattomine coin, it's no secret, with the private miner i'm doing 16+Mh on a 1080ti its not like nvidia don't have a better option anyway, who mine eth with nvidia...
lol... The new kids decided to squak about most of the niche algos, so those are off the table. You can earn more mining equihash then those algos. People don't understand how nvidia mining works, it's all niche and as soon as you talk about that niche it's gone. Matter of a fact, most of the ones I know about are earning a $1 less per day then equihash. But that aside, you can earn more then equihash mining eth+dcr... but I'm sure you know that because you've entered all those numbers in. Eth+dcr is currently earning $4 compared to $3.53 with equihash on a 1070. Yeah, so no... We're back to square one... which is equihash. Nice everyone always mentions how much nvidia makes on niche algos... but they don't, not anymore... Wow it's like something I mentioned over the last couple months about how insanely volatile and easy to saturate niche algos/coins are. Ah, but I'm sure you bought a bunch of 1080/tis because they're amazing! so now you're fucked and can't mine ethereum+anything and are stuck on equihash anyway. I can see why you're lamenting about 'nvidia mining lowly ethereum', but you know... What a stupid and useless comment. Fortunatelly i dont have to mine eth+dcr with a 1070, because those shit and easy to saturate coins you talk about can be mined longer than you think. not only that but those niche shit coin, are always coming, i mean there always a new shit niche coin to mine, they never end so you have a infinite more profitable opportunity than whattomine, last one was bitcoin planet, made 0.3 in 2 days with only 2 x 1080ti, just an hint...

And no, most of the larger niche coins have been saturated. There are a couple that can maybe supports a dozen or a couple dozen 1070s... and sure... you basically described ultra niche and that can evaporate over night and you're mining nothing but dust, not only can the market instantly crash, but so too can the difficulty. Wish I could pay my electricity bills with hopes and dreams like you, but that's not the way life works. well bensam with spreadcoin you make more than whattomine coin, it's no secret, with the private miner i'm doing 16+Mh on a 1080tinot only that but those niche shit coin, are always coming, i mean there always a new shit niche coin to mine, they never end

You don't say? I was one of the original people mining it here years ago. I said 'most', not all... Although you basically just shit another market down. Funny how you're talking about new 'niche coins' to mine and basically just described a old one that not many people know about. Skein is making less then equihash, x17, bitcore, and tribus are all making less then equihash. Blake2s is also making less then equihash. I suppose you can add spreadcoin to that now. Instamining new coins isn't the same thing as extended long term income either. Being profitable for a day and then crappy for the other 364 days out of the year isn't going to help anyone get ahead. It really doesn't even matter what you're mining that with too. We've covered this before, that's literally outside the normal spectrum of mining. There is no long term mining profit in that nor any reason to buy AMD or Nvidia. You could throw ancient hardware at it and still come out ahead, it really doesn't matter. That's like saying 'I bought XYZ coin on day 1 and it went up 10000% percent! I made so much money!', yeah that's neat, that's not mining.

well the point is that you are not profitable for 2 days and crappy for 363, that is your assumption, it's more like you are profitable for 2-3 days with very huge profit, that you can not even dream about on other coin
and then for the next 2-3 weeks you just keep mining something else which is on par with what you are mining anyway, i consider those huge profit a bonus
and bitcoin planet is not a old coin, was released 1 week ago and was very profitable at launch like many other in the past, it's not even instamining, is earlymining waiting for exchange, these coin are always the best one for huge return

You can't even dream about on another coin? That's assuming I don't have the hash to support being 'that profitable'. There is literally a limit on how much you can make on instamining... If I told you .3BTC wasn't that much...? You're trying to get me fired up over a hat trick that is only profitable for a day... if that. Looking at Bitcoin Planet that you spoke of, the daily volume was at most $1100 and thats close to when it launched and slid down hill from there, that's not much nor would that be worth my time. That's volume that includes dumping as well as normal market volume. But you know, I suppose you were just trying to make a point about how it really didn't matter what you mined that coin with, you made money anyway. What you're talking about IS instamining and prospecting. Which could be absolutely valueless... It's a different part of cryptos that have nothing to do with mining, which has no point in a discussion of AMD or Nvidia being better, you're just talking about a technique. That isn't sustainable or remotely long term profit for mining. You could do the same thing without any mining equipment by buying coins early if you expect them to gain value which I mentioned already, that's investing though and once again isn't mining.

you are telling me that 0.3 btc with two gpu isn't that much are you joking? there is no coin that can give you that, and it's not instamining, i was mining for two days, the diff was low, because no one care about a coin that have no exchange
instamining is another thing, it's when you mine tons of block in few seconds/minute, this is earlymining...mining before the coin hit the exchange

The 1080ti should be good in the nexus algo. Why don't you download the old djm34 miner and try for your self The link is in the nexus thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=657601.0Nexus sp-mod #6: The 1080 does 200MHASH with mild oc. I expect the 1080ti to do around 260-280MHASH. The 1080ti has 86.66% more processors than the gtx 1070, but it is clocked lower. So if a 1080ti is 2x1070 speed, the 1070 code isn't optimized. 2x1070 does around 320MHASH.

Totally agree. So, you had mined a lot of Nexus in the earlies, nice. This is good strategy, I have never done this.

I can test on MSI, GB and Asus. Just give me miner. Exactly. I can do a quick test if you provide the miner so I do not have to set up everything from scratch and increase the down time of my rig. Galax GTX HOF 1080 Ti here
