Since SP's work is being "stolen";  he does have the right to charge a fee.  It's bad for those of us who have donated to SP.
His mods are well worth the cost.
 
Last year I bought his spread miner and used it for 6 months until the dev modded the algo and it quit working.  
I recently sold off all my spr for 1.61btc.   That'll get me a new laptop with a 1070 and money left over for a vacation this fall.
Oh and my cost basis on the spr was $0.97      


question for SP: do you have a package deal if someone wants to buy all the miners?

Nowadays; I'll mine a coin until another becomes more profitable. I don't stick to just 1 algo.

Selling Spread now seams like a bad deal thought with helium coming up and a 1:1

If I didn't need the cash; I'd still be holding Spread.

I just got my SIGNATUM SP-MOD#2 miner.

I use it on a Asus GTX1080 Gaming -- Power Limit +10%; CoreClock +150MHz; Memory Clock -502MHz

SIGNATUM SP-MOD#2 intensity: 26 i get ~36/37 MH/s at 180Watt 0.2MH/Watt

CCminer2.2 max intensity: 25 i get ~25 MH/s at 155Watt 0.17MH/Watt


so guys spent 0.05BTC it will be worth it !

hey, any suggestions which pool is better? I use suprnova.cc, but its dashboard shows some almost arbitrary information about my rig's hashrate. Also not sure does it calculate shares properly.

but the gtx 970 is down from 16 to 15.2...


I did a new seperate kernel for the 1060, and I should make one for the 970 as well..

1070s up from 20 to 28-29 MH/s! (from 102 to 143145 MH/s)
Also I see that the SP mod works more stable than ccminer 2.2 in terms of generated shares (at least visually). ccminer 2.2 often shows nothing for whole block.
Another interesting observation: SP MOD consumes more power than ccminer 2.2 but in terms of hashrate/Watt it is much better.

A question for people who has mixed rigs of 1070/1080/1080ti: how you manage overclocking?
I am going to add 1080ti to my 1070 rig (one more spot) but since MSI afterburner applies the same settings to all cards, I am not sure will be such rig stable.

i presume skunk algo was never optimized by epsylon in the first place, so yeah there is still room for improvements

what you guys have reached now?

well ...

our 'stock' speeds seem to be 'close to' or 'equal to' spmod speeds WITHOUT any oc on the cards ... ie - our miner speeds are pretty much the same / similar without messing with gpu oc - or memclock oc ... just pull the gpu out of the box - and run the miner ... so chances are - if oc was implemented - our miner would be faster ...

we are still testing - and it seems to run VERY stable so far ( due to the lack of pushing oc through the roof like sp does ) ... though this has been internally tested so far and cannot verify these results unless the miner is tested on different platforms ... windows being the most common platform - we are considering a closed beta for testing on windows - which means we may require 'beta testers' for the miner ...

this current testing is conducted on theFARM mining machines - and under fedora 25 x64 - cuda80 - gcc631 ... we will be testing this under fedora 26 x64 - cuda80 - gcc711 very shortly ...
