Those days are gone.
It's getting harder and harder to boost the performance. More work is needed than before. Alexis did the easy pickings with his legacy opensource code, and gave up when he didn't manage to beat the speed of the sp-mod's. My modded kernels's have generated millions of dollars worth of cryptos. Who doesn't want faster hashrate or less power usage? You don't want to share the profit with everybody else right? total bullshit

I think the hashrate will be cut to 25% of todays rate right after the fork. Should be profitable to mine with the sp-mod on NVIDIA as well.
My bet, XMR -50% ($100-150) when we get closer to the fork, nethash 0.4-0.5G

The service was available before the mining Cards hit the market. you can google the forum to find the "scammers" that sold the 40MHASH modded 1070 bios'es. A well known bios scammer is wolf0. He made 100BTC on the scam that turned out to be a real improvement.
The improvement is now implemented in all the Nvidia mining cards.
Does it mean we don't need to manually mod our 1080ti? or what? I see this topic for bios modd: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1758267.0

I think a Baikal mod can be very profitable. Who wants to sell me 100 devices?

I think a Baikal mod can be very profitable. Who wants to sell me 100 devices? For that order quantity You could negotiate price with Baikal. I expect You can reach $1800 price.

and whether the detailed price will be published with the already available, up-to-date versions of the miners with their speeds on the corresponding algorithms, and of course the price tags to them ... or this is already in the past???

THE PREREQUISITE HAS NOT BEEN MET-- Have you purchased and delivered 100 Baikal miners to sp_ ? He needs incentive for his work. I am sure you would be the first to get the news about the chip enhancements and code re-design. Troll bait works wonders... --scryptr

AFAIK you only need 1 device to develop a software for it, especially if all devices are completely identical.

YOU ARE CORRECT-- Provided mistakes are not made and no units are damaged. Perhaps you could negotiate a lesser amount with sp_ . He is the coder, not me. Or, you could do it yourself. Other coders want 1.5 BTC for piecework, or $60/hr for help setting up ready-to-run softwares. That's 1.5 BTC to re-work machine code on mining hardware. I set up my own miners and run my cards with stock BIOS. --scryptr

The miner contains a fee, and is slow.
The miner contains NO FEE, and is the fastest x16r ccminer Available open or closed source : ) note : i compiled a x64 Release today performs better than 32bit seems cuda 9 favours x64 https://github.com/nemosminer/ccminernevermore/releasesBest Regards Nemo

As for sp - x16r is very good for him to speculate as he can say about big speedup and it will be difficult to prove he is liar due to constant algo and speed change.
