i don't know why your twitter account is titled 'the blocknet' lol reminds me of that moment in that movie "the social network" where founder of napster tells zuckerberg remove the "the" and just call it facebook and btw you guys are cookin something good  @blocknet was taken. :-) I kind-of like the definite article for a Twitter handle. It suggests singularity. |

It doesn't matter if it's open or closed, nobody cares either way... I care. Why? This thing will be dead long before it goes anywhere. The only altcoin projects that will be "dead" are the ones that get outpaced due to limited resources. Blocknet is building a platform that enables and encourages decentralized development. I know it's hard, but try to wrap your head around that and maybe you'll see why Blocknet is easily one of the best projects to hedge your portfolio with. It's huge, and I've done a lot of looking around and reading between the lines as a casual observer etc etc |

Apparently now HZ is 'crowdfunding' a MGW clone.
Why crowdfund what jl777 did by himself, especially when the original is open source?
Please explain this to me, I want to understand.

Wrong thread? I do know, however, that HZ's intentions for the MGW are somewhat different, and that they've adapted/bug-squashed every singe bit of tech they got from NXT. But let's not discuss this here. In any case, we're celebrating our new website! http://blocknet.co |

When you say 'did', do you mean that everything Blocknet and XC and HZ are doing has been coded and accomplished by him (jl)alone? And there is no need for crypto to go any further? Does he have a finished product? I'm not saying he isn't talented; he is. But he is working by himself and doesn't have a finished product. Blocknet code also differs (want to talk about JSON?) so if you would kindly explain, in detail, why you think your question is worth considering I would appreciate it. Cheers...  |

Hoertest, if you don't permit projects the freedom to grow and realise their own internal potential, you should not be involved.
Our business case is based on months of research. It's also has plain utility, since if we're to create an internet of blockchains, it's absolutely essential that the "real world," which includes businesses that of necessity require legal entities to do business with, can integrate into the Blocknet. We're working hard at creating the best possible tech and I think you should respect that.
To get pissed off about some idea that doesn't appeal to you is, with respect, inappropriate in my opinion. Why be so brittle anyway? Rather just appreciate what we have to offer. It will always be limited, not infinite or ideal. But we're giving it everything we've got.
(And personally, I'm really excited about the Blocknet. Perhaps you have reason to be too.)
