McHammer, your last post was as pictureseque as it was weird.

Unfortunately you're no less banned than you were before.

And I'm male, btw.

Unpleasant. I believed I am being very reserved knowing I am purposely being giving false answers to very legitimate questions.
You gave me a business name to back up the claims of successful/reputable business owner that does not exist in relation to Dan Metcalf. Period.
I gave you the business names that do and when I call you out that you are giving me false information you then decide to delete the posts.

Get over it Lee. You would be very entitled to think that you can legitimately ask about Dan's life.

He has already made his identity public. Any further details are strictly above and beyond the call of duty.

If you're not comfortable with that, just go away and don't buy BLOCK.

And all that trash about censorship and whatnot is profoundly disanalogous to what we have here. Your concerns about Dan's business are *not* legitimate because it is his *private* concern.

When will poloniex allow deposits. I purchased there during the ico and now cannot deposit back. This is screwing me.

I've just heard that Poloniex (reason unknown) have finally disabled withdrawals and deposits of BLOCK for the remainder of the ITO.

I'm unaware of why they would do so now.

It would've made sense to do so when we requested it, at the beginning of the ITO.

Who told you that? Withdrawals and deposits have been disabled because there may be a problem with the wallet. I PM'd the following to you hours before you made the above post:

Quote
Is there a block explorer for Blocknet? A user has sent a deposit that isn't showing in our wallet, and I can't find a source to ensure we're on the correct chain.

I have yet to receive a reply.

Someone should make a thread "Coinssource journalist fired for participating in smear campaign against XC Developer Dan Metcalf"

For those of you who are fans of sweet sweet justice, the journalist behind the scandalous Blocknet "Scam" article has been fired.

Oh wow. Justice indeed. That was the most viciously biased thing I've ever seen in the press.

I must say though that it ended up being a clincher for me. A commenter retorted to my comment beneath the article and unwittingly verified winteriscoming5's leaked pastebin incriminating Mr Boh and Longandshort in the smear campaign. (S)he also implicated Trollsroyce and Soepkip in the process. Pure gold, that.

It's great to see this kind of accountability in crypto. Most of it is such a free for all.

All respect to T.K. there!

My apologies for not replying to your PM. I have a mounting pile of them and no time to get everything done.

We are in the process of setting up a block explorer (Chainz if I'm not mistaken).

Exiting news= changing the terms of the ITO in order to try and surpass and stay beyond the minimum sell amount for "success"?

Are these the block from poloniex?

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State BlockNet can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State BlockNet to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State BlockNet.” - Joseph Goebbels

Not sure if I like this idea either.  I personally don't think that the terms of the ITO should be changed.  At the same time, let's try to avoid interpreting every decision they make and every word they say in the absolute worst possible light.

Let's try to be objective, while still asking the hard questions.

60 BTC of BLOCK are available on CoinGateway!

(Yes, we thought we'd keep this as a little surprise for the end of the ITO.)

Buy BLOCK with any participating altcoin until it runs out!

Note that BLOCK now costs 0.00025 BTC. The 10% discount is no longer applied.

No ITO terms have been changed. This has been planned.

i heard bittrex is putting a buywall up for block. is this happening for all the exchanges or are they the only one? and what if we bought with  another coin? any offical info on all this?

Only Bittrex https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203325664-BlockNet-ITO-What-happened-and-next-steps-

They are doing it to compensate open trading on Poloniex

yeah polo dropped the ball a little bit on this deal. oh well should mean less supply of coins and higher value hopefully.

Not the case at all.  I negotiated the terms of the crowdsale for Poloniex.  I made it abundantly clear to the Blocknet team multiple times that trade would be open on Poloniex in both the NHZ and BTC BLOCK markets.  Blocknet was well aware of the arrangement.

MobyDick_Poloniex because there seems to be a breakdown as to what is being told to the community versus what is really happening would you please let us know some more things.

When you were approached to pull down the sell wall, what reasoning were you given?

Did it violate the agreement you originally had with blocknet?

How many total block's were sold on poloniex?

How much btc did it generate?

Were these funds sent to blocknet?

If so, what btc address and who was the blocknet representative that authorized this?

Thank you.

Poloniex was not asked to remove a sell wall.  The developers selling Blocknet were able to deposit and place the wall at the price they chose and with the quantity of BLOCK they deposited.  The removal of the sell wall was entirely up to the developers and did not violate any previously arranged terms.

The total amount of BTC and NHZ raised during the crowdsale has been tallied, and the addresses funds were withdrawn to have been noted.  I have requested authorization to release these details from Dan Metcalf in an email, and will await his decision before posting them.
