Maybe it's because there were too few people staking over the weekend, the number of connections and stake weight was quite low over the last month or so, and dangerously close to 0 this weekend... we definitely need PalmDetroit...

Yes, we do!

But... where is he  Huh

Every time my wallet has tried to stake since the 2nd, it has stopped syncing.
Even when my stakes showed as many as 20 confirms, redownloading the blockchain to try to get it syncing showed those stakes to be orphans.
On the occasion when it would catch up it would stake again then stop syncing once again.
Since nothing has changed with the wallet for almost a full year, I don't understand what would have caused this issue.

I had similar problems with staking big amounts of coins about a year ago, network just ban you after some staking,
may be because my wallet forces the difficulty to sky rocket or something like this.
But then network was strong, after few tries it accepted my stakes.
Now I guess there is a fork and network can't choose the right branch and get consensus.

My wallet is now "synced" at block 483251.

But no staking... and my coins are now 15 days old...  Huh

What a mess!

Hi guys, I put up some PHS nodes to support the network
Code:
addnode=74.118.195.134
addnode=104.255.67.131
addnode=104.218.234.124
addnode=104.218.234.125

Current block is
Code:
getblockhash 483391
a170339f9a8d86d915a814da404eaf4d7d7cf12f26c001c1145d1ac476746e3a

Cryptsy is on this chain, withdrawals work fine.

Tomorrow will upload bootstrap file for those who forked.

I'm on block 483391 but don't understand why my wallet keeps reporting my coins are not mature when in fact they are now 13 days old  Huh

I'm connected to some of those nodes. Therefore, according to you, I'm on the right chain.

So why I'm not staking?  Undecided

Try running repair wallet.
The ones I staked days ago never actually made it into the chain even with 20 confirms.

Need 50 to be mature.

This is crazy... I can't keep a single node synced while at the same time people are trading PHS on Cryptsy.

That must mean they can withdraw without a problem.

But how?

Synced and staking as well! I guess we were a lucky few on the same fork at the same time to keep going.
If you are on a different fork (i.e. no sync) try to remove the blockchain and download it again.

Alternatively, I've put my blk0001.dat in the dropbox folder here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xjleq1n3ky0hwj9/blk0001.dat?dl=0

Hopefully this solves the problem for everyone.

The good thing with the issue is that we see how many of us are involved and staking!!!

phs should find a new exchange soon.  cryptsy is bleeding hard
PHS can get to Cryptopia relatively easy.
Only 2000000 DOT votes needed to get listed immediately and PHS already has 509433.
Or we can try ninja vote at the and of the round, current voting round ending in 10 hours.

wallet is synced and works fine, probably you are on a wrong fork, need to re-sync or download the correct blockchhain http://dl.version2.org/phs483810.zip
