I've been running my client for 7 days now and didn't understand why I wasn't minting anything

How old is your coins? It generally takes 10 days to stake. And if amount of coins, or chunks are less that 1000 PHS even much longer.

Some of my coins are from 2014, I ran the fix / repair wallet stuff on the wallet and they came out fine.
I got 21 coins of interest on 1/10/2018.
I also bought some coins on 1/24/2018, so that makes them a bit over 14 days.

My Stake value on Overview says : 0
the console info shows my coins weight is 2935 and network weight is 2442167.
I have a 50% chance of interest in next 19 days.  (per getinfo/getmininginfo)

I hope that helps with any suggestions as to what to look for.   I do try to keep the wallet fired up most of the week to help out.
I'd hoped to see even a little number show up in Staked!  Smiley

Thanks for the tip on having more than 1000 coins too.  I'll be buying a "few" more to get to that level at least.  Good to know.

Hi,

1. Download philosopherstone-qt.zip 1.6.6.9b https://github.com/philosopherstonecoin/philosopherstone/releases
2. optional also download  Philosopherstone-Bootstrap_814643.zip
Code:
How To import from bootstrap:

Make sure PHS is not running.
If you have a previous install, Backup wallet.dat or directory: (default) Windows c:/users/username/appdata/roaming/philosopherstone/
Run philosopherstone-qt.exe in the same directory as bootstrap.dat
You should see a message saying "Importing bootstrap blockchain Data" on splash screen. If not, you didn't place file in proper directory.
PHS will now load from bootstrap file, this process will take 30 minutes to 24+ hours , depending on hardware.
The splash may disappear, But, you'll see the icon in your lower right task-bar, just let it run until its done.
When done loading bootstrap let PHS catch up with the network, you'll see a green checkmark when done.
Enjoy the stake!

3. Unlock wallet when green
4. enjoy stake

Looks like Ill update translations

Hi lengfeng847,

I guess your problem is not the wallet. I suppose your (home)network has some restrictions. If you had just a sync-problem you should see at least the three small icons in the lower right corner (stake info, connections, sync). But on your images I cannot see them. This problem always occures when I am in a more restrictive "guest"-wifi network of a friend. I do not know the restrictions of the "guest"-wifi in detail but when I am at home again the wallet shows the three small icons again and runs normally.
Did you make any changes to you router since 2015? Or did you change your internet provider?

This was interesting to see when some minted coins showed up last night, after running the client for a few weeks (off n on)! Grin

Looking up my address:  9jzrgBnBY8V7LH9cSgvyYMtL9wbrgyt6RV  on philosopherstones.org/block/

the transaction:
f6e41098360c26faf62203462bcb93be935e453becb674b96095b48991aa3023

The Operation History Tab show my POS reward as 43.99589000 PHS
but,
when I go to the Unspent Inputs Tab, the POS amount shows as 98.88279800 PHS
a difference of 54.886908 PHS.

My wallet only shows the 43.99589 amount as well.   After looking thru all my POS rewards, the same thing has happened with all of them!
******Another reward just came in  Cheesy as I typed this and it also has different amounts between the two "info" tabs on the Block Explorer.

Can anyone give me some insight on what's going on?
Two clues to this, one:  following the transactions connected to each reward, it seems some of the newly minted coins are being "sent forward" to future POS rewards?
the second clue, under Transaction Details, it shows some of the coins "Not Yet Redeemed".

Love to find out where to "redeem" a bit over 100 PHS that hasn't been credited!!  Huh

In operation history you see your reward. The amount of new coins credited to your account. In unspent inputs you see all your coins, that you can spend. The amount of coins that was before reward plus reward it has minted.

Installed and working great, fully connected, and it started up just a bit quicker, from around 10 to 12 to around 8 seconds off of my SSD. Good to see the links fixed. Looking good!

Grin NEW Simple Philosopherstone Widget => get it on www.f-droid.org  Grin

is for tracking continuously the Philosopherstone price on your Android mobile phone.

https://f-droid.org/packages/com.toxtox.philosopherstonewidget/

Screenshots:
https://i.imgur.com/XPfxig5.png
https://i.imgur.com/WWG5Rxs.png

@VladK : If you think its cool enough for the website you might put the "get it on f-droid"-button on http://philosopherstones.org/ :
Code:
<a href="https://f-droid.org/packages/com.toxtox.philosopherstonewidget/">
<img src="https://f-droid.org/badge/get-it-on.png"
alt="Get it on F-Droid" height="80">
</a>

By the way, the price widget on f-droid might help to make Philosopherstones a little bit more known to the world outside of this forum.
But f-droid app-store is still less known then google play store. Therefore not everybody will find it.

Has anybody in this forum a google play store account who could bring the Simple Philosopherstone Widget to the google play store?

Grin Philosopherstone is a 4 stars coin now!  Grin

The rating at www.cryptopia.co.nz of Philosopherstone was increased for a second time from initially 1,5 stars via 3 stars in December 2017 to 4 stars NOW!
This means Philosopherstone is one of the 30 highest rated coins out of 585coins available at cryptopia exchange (only 29 coins have more then 4 stars)!
Check out here: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/CoinInfo/?coin=PHS
The rating is based on the following criteria:
Windows Wallet +100
Linux Wallet +100
Mac Wallet +100
Mobile Wallet +100
Web/Paper Wallet +100
Premine 0% No change, 0.1%-2% -200, 2.1%-10% -300, 10.1%-50% -400, 50.1%-100% -600
Website +100
Block Explorer +200
Cryptopia Forum Thread +200

Thanks to VlatK, Palmdetroid and all other supporters we have everything of the rating list above but no "Mobile Wallet" or "Web/Paper wallet" yet. (By the way in my opinion cryptopia itself is a web wallet, too.)

@VladK :

When you scroll down the http://philosopherstones.org/ website you will find the twitter icon but without any link/function.
Maybe you could assign one of the twitter-links of my preceding post above?

Further have you already thought about putting the "get it on f-droid"-button on http://philosopherstones.org/ for the "Simple Philosopherstone Widget"?
Code:

Hey everyone!  Hasn't been a post for awhile so thought I'd start some chatter.

First, it's good to see the price up a bit, even though it be on low volume.

Second, I'd be interested in how most of you are obtaining your stones.  I have just traded in other crypto I have mined over at Cryptopia.  Is there a place where you can just buy PHS with straight up USD? (I don't think so Tongue)

Third, some of the grammar on the website is just a tad "off", to be respectful.  Some words that should be plural are not and such.  Any interest in me help clean anything, please let me know.

Looking forward to the future!

I'm just minting at present, for a few hours each day.  Trying to get my Raspberry Pi up and running to leave on 24/7 though.

I've sold some other Alt coins and currently have a few buy orders in  Grin

I think you can only buy from Cryptopia with NZD (luckily I live here  Grin)

Onwards and upwards (after my buy orders have been filled first lol   Shocked)

Second, I'd be interested in how most of you are obtaining your stones.

As long as we get 50% p.a. (POS) the easiest way to get more stones is staking/minting. Buy some stones put it in your PC- or Raspi-wallet, relax Cool and look again to your wallet after 9 days Cheesy. (Could take a longer time with a small amount of stones [if less then 5000 for example])

Here you can find a good advice for optimizing your POS-REWARDS by defragmentation:
https://twitter.com/PHS_stone/status/977292183106654208
This results in getting HIGHER REWARDS instead of many small rewards
