I am new to this project.  I cannot get the wallet online: is there anything special I need to do, such as, creating a conf file?

Yup https://archsupport.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000497258-how-to-download-archcoin-conf-file-how-to-update-nodes-

Sometimes it does take awhile to connect but if you use that config and leave it you'll be okay.

That configuration file was already included, but I went through the steps anyway.  I also uninstalled and started over again; however, I am not getting any connections.  Maybe this coin is a dead coin?

I had significant trouble when I first installed as well. Add all of these nodes to your archoin.conf file. It fixed it for me.

addnode=supernode.archcoin.co
addnode=104.131.74.40
addnode=108.20.214.165
addnode=108.21.112.195
addnode=110.20.142.231
addnode=114.79.28.212
addnode=114.79.47.2
addnode=121.73.217.8
addnode=138.91.136.18
addnode=162.245.22.23
addnode=173.245.157.67
addnode=174.3.172.7
addnode=179.5.60.238
addnode=204.11.237.233
addnode=210.195.21.254
addnode=24.118.83.49
addnode=24.209.156.81
addnode=24.238.194.219
addnode=24.56.61.247
addnode=31.25.28.142
addnode=49.144.155.125
addnode=62.210.114.57
addnode=67.161.20.189
addnode=79.146.84.160
addnode=82.5.49.193
addnode=85.17.172.116
addnode=91.232.105.11
addnode=93.108.48.48
addnode=94.226.17.1
addnode=95.211.148.215
addnode=95.220.222.119
addnode=98.181.27.169
addnode=98.247.221.102

This worked.  Thanks....I have one connection with all them nodes!  What's going on with this coin?  Do you think it's getting ready keel over and die on us?

EDIT:  Nice...13 connections now...feel tons better....IT'S ALIVE!

Where can I order a Moby?   Huh

Just wait until it's ready, I believe the main purpose to drive demand to Arch is that Mobys will only be available to buy using ARCH which hopefully will drive price up substantially I just hope BTCarch isn't playing us all  Roll Eyes

Who knows.

By the way, shouldn't ARCH "tokens" be converted into shares already based on the whitepaper? It's been over 1 year. Another lie? Let's find out.

Is he giving good reasons for the delay? I mean I really doubt he would ruin his reputation if it's all a scam, I think he'll deliver sooner or later.

I own ARCH and I am gonna keep holding for awhile.  I haven't been providing buy support however because it doesn't seem that the project has the interest it once had.  This project is different than many others in that it relies on the development of outside projects and those projects have seemingly ran into problems.  Maybe those problems can be attributed to less than expected investment....I don't know.

Seems like it has been quite a while since OP has been online. I really hope we see a "Moby" but things have been really quiet and it is really showing in price. Is it just another trick to get in low ? Who knows
