dont get your hopes up. check the speculation section of this forum. if you can read past the trolls fud sters and lunatics, some users have a decent grasp of economics and what is and is not feasable and why.
no one knows, really, but some educated guesses make more sense than others. i dont expect any dramatic rise in the future, but slow steady increase over a very long time...most likely. check back in 10 years.

It's unlikely to reach that high considering the value of btc today. It would need some massive buy out to even reach at $5,000. But who knows, that could happen anytime soon but not on 2015.

Agreed. At least 10 years before it will go to $10,000 per coin. Hopefully they will have fixed the blockchain bloat issue by then!  |

No $10,000 is a little too optimistic in my opinion, I think it might get back up to a $1,000 in 2015, but probably not $10,000.

It depends on many factors. Near future is easy to predict, far future is hard to predict. It could be $10.000 USD in 2020.
I expect it to be $700-$1000.

I don't think it matters whether guesses on the price come from trolls or people who seemingly know what they're talking about, because nobody can predict the price. Sure, you can make try educated guesses with charts and figures, but it's not a science amd is still all just speculation. |

If only I had the $$$ to invest in quite a few BTCs...Millions of people don't even know about them; when word continues the spread, it's probable that there'll be a spike in value, since there's a limit to how many BitCoins will be in existence.

Most soonish  it will happen in 2021 year. Then bitcoins will be almost all mined, and price will go up just by that |

It will never happen. You would have to destroy a lot of bitcoins to get it at that price. With a scarcity like that, adoption can't happen on a larger scale and thus, the price shoots up. Basically, if it's worth 10,000 dollars, it will be more of a collectible item that sits in your physical Bitcoin.

10k in 2015 is too optimistic. I predict slow long term growth for bitcoin in the coming years. I don't expect any big jumps in prices like the one we experienced in 2013 until the next bitcoin halving.

Based on this trend no However past 2015 maybe into 2016 or 2017 this type of question will be more legitimate Right now selling pressure is far to strong it will take some time to get a strong holding and support base to keep up with selling demand |
