I love this wallet but sync is terrible... This is because TOR network. Just download the full blockchain below. If you need help to install the blockchain, just write here I synced a fresh data directory with the bootstrap file today, just to see what to expect. This is a 2006 macbook pro, so it's pretty slow. 1. It hung for a while at 71% filling the key pool. This is normal. Newer computers will pause briefly here. This is a computationally expensive task. 2. Checking the bootstrap.dat hung (again normally) at 91%. For my computer, it took about 1.5 hours. For newer computers, it will take 30 to 45 minutes at this step. I watched the debug.log on both and everything proceeded normally. It synced automatically and quickly grabbed 17 peers--and that's behind a NAT router. It didn't require any restarts to get fully synced and integrated iwth the network. Hondo |
