According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

it might, but i'm talking about holding on too, if it goes to 2000 im not going to go ''oh man jiggy was right'' then sell so its all good Smiley if it does i will buy more, there is only one thing that could be a cause for concern and that's the buy support, bar that its all green lights for me! really look forward to the SMS application too!

Does Stealth coin have a paper/cold wallet?

Yes XST does have a paper wallet:

https://walletgenerator.net/?currency=StealthCoin#

For security reasons I advice you:
1)To download the paper wallet generator from their github: https://github.com/MichaelMure/WalletGenerator.net
2) Disconnect you machine from Internet
3) Generate the keys.

StealthCoin is now accepted at Cryptiplier!

You can now deposit StealthCoin (XST) with Cryptiplier.com.

Feel free to send us a PM or post below with any questions or inquiries.

**While we are not directly affiliate with XST, this coin has been requested to be accepted on Cryptiplier by StealthCoin representative(s).

This kind of thing usually pyramid scam, there are ton of these which already disappeared with the coins. Give it a week or two and this site will be gone with your money. The user is new scammer just came out of rat hole.

OK,something happened coz my wallet is not staking anymore...i tried 2x restart. Its still same.Maybe some updates are coming! Cheesy
I have the same problem mate , let's wait for a response ... .

Thank you for reporting this issue as soon as you noticed it.

I have been looking at it for an hour now. I believe I have identified the problem. It will likely require a hard fork to address. The issue seems to arise from a strange combination of events happening simultaneously and exposed a problem with the PoS protocol.

This issue is a slight security risk because many users seem to be excluded from staking, which impacts the security of the network. The team is putting together a plan to mitigate any potential security concerns.

As soon as I am confident I have diagnosed this issue, I will release a fix ASAP.

Is there an update on this issue and are there current download links available? DL links on the HP seem to point to V2.0.1, while there should be at least 2.0.2 available.

Who`s pushing the price down?  Angry

Ask side of the orderbook did not grow much in the last few days, at least up to 6000. So just enjoy the cheap coins, it will go back up.

Is there a download source with a direct download link to the xst-bootstrap file? I am just trying to download it to a server via console ... Google Drive with wget does not work, and w3m does not show the downloadlink too. It's a pain in the ass to upload the 500MB-file to a server with a 100MBit connection using a DSL line with 500kBit upstream.

It's a pain in the ass to upload the 500MB-file to a server with a 100MBit connection using a DSL line with 500kBit upstream.

Bootstrap file with the instructions is in the OP:

Bootstrap: https://tinyurl.com/xst-bootstrap

The bootstrap.dat works for any version and is current as of block 1,091,000. The md5sum of the unpacked bootstrap.dat is 954ce14c3582c9a92a7d1020b211a4fc. The sha256sum for the unpacked bootstrap.dat file is 608c0192cfa6ab110489d3767cf55f042eee4b478d63a7edd64b13cba49c9755. You will need the 7zip utility to unpack the bootstrap archive. The list of hashes to block 1,091,000 is available at https://tinyurl.com/xst-hashlist.

StealthCoin Syncing Made Easy

1. Back up your wallet
2. Stop the old client
3. Go to the application data directory (Windows: "%appdata%/StealthCoin", OS X: "~/Library/Application Data/StealthCoin")
4. Remove blk0001.dat, database (directory), db.log, debug.log, and txleveldb (directory); or just remove everything but wallet.dat
5. Download the zipped bootstrap file from https://tinyurl.com/xst-bootstrap
6. Unpack the bootstrap file into the application data directory
7. Start the new client
8. For the new client your computer will pause momentarily at 71% to fill the key pool (you may not notice)
9. The progress will pause at 91% for as much as two hours (up to 4 hours for old computers!) to validate the bootstrap file. Do not interrupt this process!
10. The chain may take 5 to 10 minutes to sync after the bootstrap is complete
11. In some cases, the client may crash either right before bootstrap or right after. If so, just restart.

Yeah, that Tinyurl link to Google Drive is what I referred to as "pain in the ass" but nevermind: transfer is 50% through. There will be a new XST node with high connectivity soon.
