Kialara Physical Bitcoins/HAVEN: Update

First, I want to say thanks again to everyone who has already ordered one of these from me. You’re the reason I get to be an artist for a living.





Secondly, I wanted to share that I have raised $1,150.00 that will be used to support projects that benefit the bitcoin community. And I've raised an additional $4,750 that will be used for the construction of new HAVEN bee hives to be installed next Spring.



HAVEN is a living sculpture and nationwide bee sanctuary, specifically created to house colonies of wild honeybees. Incorporating an entirely new kind of beehive design, the network is designed solely for the wellbeing and benefit of the bees, not for the harvesting of their products. The development of Haven was supported by a Rocket Grant from the Warhol Foundation through the Charlotte Street Foundation. Read more here:http://deepecologyproject.com.

In the course of two months, I have shipped 400 Kialara coins which I have spent close to 300 hours assembling. And I have 100 more in production now.

PM'd you. I'll be lowering the limit from 5 to 3 just as soon as I'm caught up with production. The limit is in place b/c of the issues that can arise with customs/etc. In fact a buyer recently had some trouble with customs in Australia and I had to provide the buyer with copies of all receipts, customs forms, etc. - I'm happy to do this but it can disrupt my workflow & hold up production for others.
