so 2*c1 at 1kw and 1.6th

it's ~500w at 800gh!!!!!!!!!!!! not 400w!

pump is like 25watt or less, not worth the effort to think of its consumption

need sleep? too much alcohol?

So can u tell us what u did to achieve this?? Any hardware hacks or is it all in the software???

What firmware are u using?? What Cgminer? What Freq? & What volt?

I see u used a kill o watt or similar, Was that 2 x C1's running at 960w?? So 480w per unit??

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just ran a comparison test using the lowest volt setting that seems to work without any x's on the board, Below are my findings..

(Sorry about the caps, I wasn't watching what i was doing when i made the spec sheet up - Too lazy to fix?? - Too trivial to bother??)

ANTMINER C1 - ALL VOLTAGES ARE SET TO 0670V

LATEST FIRMWARE DEC 17 2014 = CGMINER 4.7

------------------------
BEST SETTING = FREQ : 150 X  VOLT : 0670 = 420W @ 615GH = 0.68 PER GH
------------------------

FREQ = 100

SPEED = 400GH

WATTS = 285W

PER 1GH = 0.7125 WATTS

------------------------

FREQ = 125

SPEED = 500GH

WATTS = 370W

PER 1GH = 0.74 WATTS

------------------------

FREQ = 150

SPEED = 615GH

WATTS = 420W

PER 1GH = 0.68 WATTS

------------------------

FREQ = 175

SPEED = 675GH

WATTS = 540W

PER 1GH = 0.8 WATTS

------------------------

FREQ = 200

SPEED = 800GH

WATTS = 590W

PER 1GH = 0.7375 WATTS

-------------------------

FREQ = 218.25

SPEED = 830GH

WATTS = 655W

PER 1GH = 0.78 WATTS

-------------------------

FREQ = 225

SPEED = 935GH

WATTS = 715W

PER 1GH = 0.764 WATTS

-------------------------

Anyone have better settings??

Interesting to compare...

----------------------------------

Hey Bitmain, Its amazing what u can do when u spend 5 mins of ur time to create these results...

Brought down from 0.8 p/gh to 0.68 p/gh - A small but great gain for miners still using old gear..

-----------------------------------

UPDATE

Nicehash firmware with cgminer 4.9

BEST SETTING = FREQ : 150 X  VOLT : 0670 = 410W @ 605GH = 0.677 PER GH

Marginal increase in efficiency = 0.003 not enough 4 most to worry bout but if ur scraping 4 spare watts since the release of the S7 like i am..

So freq 200 & volt 0675 = 490w

with cgminer 4.6.1?

Does that include the watts it takes to run the pump & radiator fans? I know its only about 25w but...

That would make it 515w right??

I'm only asking cause the best i was able to get was 800gh @ 590w using cgminer 4.7 on Nov 25 2014 firmware

& the only differences i can see so far are the october firmware & cgminer 4.6.1...

If that's all it is then ill try to replicate..

the 980w is only the 2 miners on a lepa 1600w psu, no pump

the miners are on boiler with a central heating unit pump...

Ok so we say 490w +25w for pump = 515w @ 800gh

Best i can get with same firmware & cgminer is :

550w = 0.6875 p/gh (With pump so -25w) = 525w....

Its only 10w shy pretty good if u ask me...

Looks like i'll need to ill need to do another spec sheet with the october firmware...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On a side note, I sold my C1 today... So i'll be movin on off this thread, It was fun playing with u all!

Hello guys,

my syscooling pump has been offline for few months and after I turned it on now, it started making baaad noises and I think it's going to fail. So I am looking for replacement!
I have seen this pump in previous page somewhere (http://www.ebay.com/itm/381066536924?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT) and I dont like the $25 shipping to EU, so I have found this http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/1pc-10W-DC-12V-Water-Cooling-DC-Pump-Tank-250ML-F-CPU-CO2-Laser-Water-Cooled/627093_1071768931.html with free shipping.

So my question is if this pump will fit. I am total newbie when it comes to those fittings and tube sizes :/ Thanks!

I have used the ebay pump.  I had pumps die and I was one to post ebay pump.

I used 2 of them for different miners and never had an issue with them.  It is a little faster then regular pump, and bigger resivor.   And I enjoyed the LED which is not really a big deal.

I suggest trying that pump if you need a new one.

And its direct fit on the stuff provided by syscooling? The tubes will fit on pump without issues?

They did for me, just use hot water on end of tubes it makes them expand then put it on.  Hot water makes a big difference and much easier.

But yes I have used 2 of them on different miners and had no issues.

I've the same problem. My syscooling pump broken down in 2 month after mining start. So I changed low-quality chinease pump to reliable German heating circulation pump (for example like this: http://productfinder.wilo.com/en/COM/productrange/0000000a0000166700020023/fc_range_description/). And it works good about 8 month. (You can look my old topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=997462.0. In russian, google translate will help  Wink )

BTC   Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System   BTC
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.

The cast iron is a little bit overkill Smiley.   But you did pick a tank of a pump it looks like.   I think the best is somewhere between the syscooling and that pump.  The ebay one I have linked a lot is a great pump for open water cooling systems.

It's worth mentioning the syscooling pumps during batch 1 (possibly little into batch 2 cant remember) were tested dry and this put plastic shards in many in places they should not be.  So high failure rate.   Later pumps that were not used dry were suppose to last longer (I did not test this as I already had replaced my pumps before my replacement syscooling pumps came).

We need another watercooled miner. The C1 is so quiet and stable. 69 days uptime and temperature super low.

I don't see them going into another watercooling machine.  I think they enjoy it being much simpler with air from fans.  That sucks for those fans of wattercooling.

But I predict mods of new gear is only water cooling we will see with BM gear.   And another part is it's easy to put in thier farms for burn in on fan unit's.  Water cooling is going to take them more time and have to worry about liquid.

Agreed to new water cooled miner, I use C1 for heating during winter. I did last winter without any additional heat source and it was perfect. Just give us S7 with few waterblocks on it, we will take care of the rest Smiley

It will take someone to mod most likely.  I just don't see another C series for the many reasons I have posted earlier.

You can look at their partner syscooling on C1, and S5 mod.  They have not logged in for months.   So that does not sound very promising.

Apparently, this  forum was for them too stressful.

I still have 3 x C1 working pump for 8 (Two of them were replacements pumps)
that working  with S5 and C1 cooling radiators .

But Syscooling answer e-mails and still sells an their website.
A few days ago, I bought a third cooling kit for 2x S5
