I think Crypto ICo is not killing Bitcoin since Bitcoin is the pioneer of cryptocurrencies. Let's see where this matter will go but I think ICO won't kill Bitcoin now and in the future. cmiiw

Yes, you are right ICO are building blocks for the Bitcoin because ICO are creating much awareness about the Bitcoin and other altcoins. Bitcoin is always the dominant currency in the present tend and it is going to be always.

Ico are not the building blocks of bitcoin because bitcoin do already have its own blocks. Keep in mind that bitcoin and any other crypto are all made by blocks. Though if bitcoin will be given  a termed for building blocks then that is altcoins because altcoins are the one that promotes and spread more awareness  about cryptos and bitcoin. Ico's are only an accesories to bitcoin and altcoin because ico's do also have their own advocate or propaganda that is somehow different from alts and btc.

I never understood why cryptotraders and exchanges support ICO's, my reasoning is this: An ICO gets funded, then they do what, they SELL the BTC they raised for fiat and push the price dive on BTC, thus taking all those BTC out of the trade environment, anyone thinking that an ICO would reinvest into the exchange is naive. This hurts everyone, even the exchanges. You might say "Well the exchanges get fee's on ico" well that is true, but they are losing all future potential fee's on those coins, if they had continued trade on the market.

So in Short - ICO's are killing Bitcoin and CryptoMarkets.

I dont think many ICOs killing bitcoin. Right now many ICOs can be bought with fiat money and others crypto beside bitcoin, mostly using ethereum as their platform. Bitcoin price drop right now i think because hacking and negative news about cryptocurrency as security

it does not seem too important because it is so with the abundance of ICO that it will show that cryptocurrency has many developments and a lot of useful products for the people created with ICO.

Exchanges dont care for anything else then profit.

They will list scam coins as long people will pay for votes for enlistment.
Right and exchanges has nothing to do with this because nothing kills bitclin but users,if we stop using this coin for trading or even in transactions this will continue fall,so what will save bitcoin is us and nothing else.

But in other issue ico scamming is one big reason thats why investors now are starting to back out and this must be stopped or give actions because if th continues then maybe whole market will die

there are icos that are scams if of course the good ones enter the exchange of currencies some are successful others do not but in that the market is based supply and demand clear that it is necessary to put rules to the icos so that it does not fall in those scams to study well of what is the best thing is to trade with the har fork of bitcoin that are already in the bitcoin chain and are more secure and do not hurt the bitcoin like bch bitcoin btcp btci goal and others are very good

No one or nothing is killing bitcoin. Most ICO investors know what they’re are getting into. Scams abound everywhere, not only in cryptocurrency. Extensive research would lessen the chance of being scammed thru ICOs.

They're not killing Bitcoin. They prove to the world that there's no reason to wait for something better.
Right. They created pennies and new ICO projects to get people to invest in their projects. Bitcoin is good but this coin is too old, and we need to change the coin better

Although we have alot of ico out there that at soing really nice and great... But the problem most of this project at having is like of putting their ico in a good exchange... Most of their ico will have been in the wrong exchange before getting to a good exchange.

I agree with you. Recently, there are indeed too many ICO, and many worthless ICO will soon enter the exchange, which can only be a bubble.

maybe that's true. many buyers or investors are eyeing the coins to be released (ico). and they will sell when the coin is already in the coin exchange. and instantly, they convert the coins into eth / btc form when they already earn a profit. this is what causes new coins can not grow because when entered in the coin market, the coin has lost many enthusiasts and the owner of the coin has sold it.

Actually the fake ICO and the such ICOs who reasons is only to collect the money is really creating problems for bitcoin, people after losing money there become disappointed and then remain too much cautious and try to avoid investing their fiat currency in bitcoin or any other altcoins.

I do not agree with this idea. Bitcoin is the basis of this market. The building block of the market.

I think that I have found a really good project – Cryptics. It is a cryptocurrency exchange rate forecasting platform, that is making predictions on a base of analysis of collected data from more than 100,000 sources in social networks and 400 technical indicators. It is able to make a daily and hourly forecasts for the crypto market (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and more) with 70% accuracy. I think this is really cool. Moreover, they will have a giveaway on Wednesday and the main prize is Lamborghini. If you want to know more - https://youtu.be/52RacK8L4GI

There are just too many ICOs going on today and most won't see the light of day. And yes I agree with the original post, these tokens accept btc and this in turn creates a surplus to demand situation thereby further worsening the btc price. What is needed is ICO regulation.

If those ICOs are complete, not fraudulent, then maybe it will not affect the BTC, but most of the ICOs are deceptive, is not valid, so it is doing so.
