I think ICO are also crypto and it is not killing bitcoin because bitcoin is model for every thing and i hope that ICO are good for the people who are new because it takes much time and a person can watch the whole market for it and it is good to have multiple coins for trade and payments.

in my opinion, ico does not destroy bitcoin because bitcoin is a virtual currency that controls parents of all cryptocurrency and ico coins that only helps the development of cryptocurrency so that many investors want to invest in cryptocurrency

I don't believe ICO kills bitcoin, but I can understand if the ICO kills altcoins. Because Tokens always reduce the volume of Altcoin. but not for Bitcoin. except for all ICOs to sell and withdraw Btc to go out to Fiat together. Bitcoin is the king of crypto currencies, and all crypto currencies include tokens following the movement of bitcoin. I believe that more.

Crypto ICO is not killing bitcoin but rather helping it. I don't think any project that want other people to invest or have some shares can't aviod to go through ICO, selfdrop etc.

The scamming ICO makes the investor afraid to invest their money in the project because right now, there are too many projects that suddenly stop or cancel or running without any news. The investor doesn't want to face this and they better to save their money to another investment type and I hope that they can back to choose bitcoin as their main investment. And if this happens again in the future, then the number of the investor will drastically decrease, and there are only a few investors that still survive in the cryptocurrency, and the mass adoption will not succeed.

yes you are right now there are a lot of ico who tend to scam and it makes many new investors afraid for investment, now it is very difficult to determine whether the ico is successful or not, they must ensure that the team owned and the founder is very clear and as much as possible tracked its whereabouts.

ICOs can never kill Bitcoin. However, I failed to understand why so many people buy into the ICOs, they are clearly a pyramid scheme for me.

all existing coins compete with each other to get the attention of the entire cryptocurrency community. And I think it's true, the victims of the emergence of new altcoins are BTC and the ETH has collapsed. BTC is the victim of the pump from the new altcoin, I myself am still confused, whether in 2019 there are still ICOs or not.
Hopefully the ICO is completely replaced with hardfork

At the present time, ICO projects may only have a great influence on the Ethereal Copper, but not on Bitcoin. But perhaps more and more ICO projects will turn investors into investing in such projects, and Bitcoin may be getting a bit of a blow.

I never understood why cryptotraders and exchanges support ICO's, my reasoning is this: An ICO gets funded, then they do what, they SELL the BTC they raised for fiat and push the price dive on BTC, thus taking all those BTC out of the trade environment, anyone thinking that an ICO would reinvest into the exchange is naive. This hurts everyone, even the exchanges. You might say "Well the exchanges get fee's on ico" well that is true, but they are losing all future potential fee's on those coins, if they had continued trade on the market.

So in Short - ICO's are killing Bitcoin and CryptoMarkets.

I think ICOs created because developers team think want make good crypto community and to expand cryptomarket. I dont think ICOs killing bitcoin because good ICOs must be want to continue the project and make a product. I am believe ICOs good for cryptomarket because competition good for the project

Can't agree with OP, i think most of the ICOs use ETH for funding and even if they used BTC it wouldn't have a strong impact, BTC is dominating the market

You send them 10 ETH, they give you 1000 Shitcoin, then they use your 10 ETH and dump it on the market for 500 bucks each, then they use the 5k to buy a car. Whats in the market now? Your 10ETH and 1000 Shticoins, but no new money.

Agree! who know they are cheating they are behaving like a prominent businessman but at least many ICO companies are cheating the innocent investors. That's why the government should soon evaluate the ICO's whether they have the ability to develop what they mentioned in the roadmap, in this way, the government should come up with a solution.

yeah i agree. I look at 90% of ICO's and they suck with no chances of suceeding then they raise 50 million USD in ETH or NEO. When they have no working product, no technical experience, nothing. Their application is not even remotely related to block chain.
