What are the benefits of cloud mining?

I think, just knowing benefits may not give you the complete idea about a subject. You should know both pros & cons of it. The following link may give u a brief idea about cloud mining...

http://www.coindesk.com/information/cloud-mining-bitcoin-guide/

Nice article, but in my opinion this is even better and still is open for discussion:

What are the benefits of cloud mining?

Benefits for cloud mining companies is that they are selling you their risk. Benefit for you is that you can risk a small amount. You can buy a fraction of ASIC for 0.001 btc and test how it goes Smiley

Hi,

question. in the FAQ it says

"Duration of all contracts are minimum one year or the longevity of the miner, whichever is higher."

Can you explain better please "or" the longevity of the miner? Does it mean contract depends on the miner , if the miner not dies could be it´s mining 10 years (even the payouts are dust until then or the electric costs are higher than the returns?)

And why is there a "minimum" and not fixed durations (let´s say 5 years?)

Example: i give you 1 bitcoin. You give me .0000013524 bitcoins daily until to 0.90 BTC, then around after 1 year you tell me that its not worth mining anymore because electric costs higher than reward.

Or the "longevity" of the miner ended after: half a year.

I think this has already been answered before by the OP...

9.How long does a contract last ?
Duration of all contracts are minimum one year or the longevity of the miner, whichever is higher.

Does it mean You suppose to end contracts after one year or each contract binds real hw and will be ended as that hw fysicaly dies?

Each contract does NOT bind to individual hardware. Group of contracts are bind to block of hardware. We manage this mapping at our end. We are talking about one year here to give you a minimum guarantee. Actually they will last longer. We are well aware of the fact that industry is talking about five years, lifetime etc. etc. But, to be safe at our end, we dont want to pre-commit anything beyond one year. Happy Minining Smiley

Moreover, your contract can not end 'half a year', because it clearly says 'whichever is higher'. So, even if the block of hardware associated with your order is damaged 'half a year', you are covered by the 'minimum one year' clause.

I'm getting varying payout daily. I think it is dependent on the coins they are able to mine every day. Happens on PB & CEX.io as well...

Maybe. Well, it´s not like it´s a disaster, far from it at .001. Just wondering.

According to the fifth point of their FAQ, minimum amount of withdrawal is 0.0005 BTC. So, it is very unlikely that u'll get any withdrawal within a week for 10 Ghs hash power, unless you have referrals.

I have 10 Ghs, I was paid 0.0007 last week, and my pending payment is 0.0006 right now.

No worry, You will get paid tommorow. Payouts are on Monday around 17 PM CEST.

With 10GHs You should get with nowadays difficulty 0.0008735 BTC weekly. If You had 110GHs You would get 0.009609 BTC weekly. If You decide to buy more GHs use my refferal www.cloudmining.website/?r=2167

Not sure about the time u r saying here, because I read on their site that the payout is by 6pm GMT on every Monday.

Moreover, u cant expect 0.0008735 BTC weekly. No 10Ghs miner can give u that. It is the theoretical amount. Actual yield is much lower than that.
