Why do all the pool's/p2pnodes say 0 workers ?

small pools will not stay on the train

that is why people are mining in ufo.nut2pools.com

it still has 15% of network hash
85% of hash is coming out of pools, no one knows where(multipools and lots of solo miners)

ok thanks and ufo.nut2pools.com is down /banned right now ?

I've finished putting together the script for setting up a full Node on a Raspberry Pi for UFOcoin.
I decided not to include any precompiled filed and have it download the source from Github and compile on the Pi, and once it starts it will download the blockchain which will take up to 20 hours to sync up.
Don't forget to statically assign an IP address to the Pi and open up port 9887 on your router pointing at that IP address.
Open to comments and suggestions.

It's available on Github here
https://github.com/tmuir12/UFO_RaspBerry_Pi_Full_Node

Being on Github and nothing is precompiled and its getting the source from the official Github for UFOcoin its easy to check it is not doing anything other than setting up a UFO node

If you downloaded from github before I've posted this message I have discovered I had made a couple of typos in the install script, but they have now been corrected and it all now works. If you have any problems let me know and I will help sort them out

WTF is going on with this damn algo !?

cgminer 3.7.8 crashes whenever I attempt to solo mine UFO.
Code:
Faulting application name: cgminer.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5456b3d7
Faulting module name: cgminer.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5456b3d7
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x0000cb1e
Faulting process id: 0x141c
Faulting application start time: 0x01d0038d18aec41f
Faulting application path: C:\cgminer-3.7.8-neoscrypt\cgminer.exe
Faulting module path: C:\cgminer-3.7.8-neoscrypt\cgminer.exe
Report Id: 592924e0-6f80-11e4-bc9a-3085a98ead79

Yet the "updated" neoS.cl appears to work with cgminger 3.7.7b..  I say "appears" because it failed to register/credit me with that 66.2k block finding share.

Where the hell did my hashpower and the block it found, go ?

miners works just fine with ufo client and new kernel
what i can tell, u have updated new kernel and 14.xx drivers, so your clock speed is way too high for second gpu, lower it,
or it might be your hardware runs out of memory, (2gb runs just fine)
based on your screen shot, u have not found any block yet

lmao My drivers, (default) clock speeds and system ram have nothing to do with 3.7.8 crashing.

Are you aware that cgminer does not record "best shares" when solo mining unless it is at or above the targeted difficulty ?

A quick search of last night's block history reveals that blocks, 287139 and 287152 both had a difficulty of 1.01xxx and both were found by the same addy. I didn't.. .but BtVnUB163amx2zxyQtJdebLPsdrDKjAVhc DID !

Fyi, my 66.2k share divided by 65536 diff-1 shares = 1.0101318359375.

Block 287139

BtVnUB163amx2zxyQtJdebLPsdrDKjAVhc

edit

One of those blocks is/was mine !

Solo mining doesnt necessarily produce more coins than pool mining... no need

Thats your "third party intervention" addiction talking. Tongue

Solo mining will one day save your centralized crypto fiat luvin ass !

Now that FTC and UFO are the only neoscrypt coins, do you have any big plans for adoption of either?

UFO and FTC are not the only Neoscrypt coins.
For a start their is Phoenix coin which lead the way for UFO and FTC and there is Imperialcoin which I don't know much about and I'm sure there will be others.

your miner clearly says accepted shares 0
best share lower than target

Do I really need to show you how long my list of minted UFO blocks is, before you stop making these assumptions about my mining experience ?

So lets try and debunk this theory. Shall we ?

Oh shizzles.. it happened again. Shocked Fuck this.. I'm out.

with that hash rate u just cant find any solo blocks or if u do they will be orphan or stale!

get more gpus or go to pool

1 have 1mhs and only found 1 block a day when solo

Something is very wrong if that is all you earned per day. The net hashrate is 30-50 mhash on average, right ?
https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=1&difficulty=1.5&power=&energycost=0.10&currency=USD

I rolf'd pretty damn hard earlier because...

.. 23 minutes later, I was reading this post when..

Block 287651
http://explorer.ufocoin.co:2750/tx/62bc4edb1880f017e7a0a89880431abf15e1f9e300e62a206f66ea50c4174d77

Block 287652
http://explorer.ufocoin.co:2750/tx/8887c46563276783d8f860cae44ee78abc28445836e37900e1a11fc21231e746

you just forgot that there is multipools out there..
how did u setup your queue,scan-time,expiry?

Just trying to say its stupid to solo if you dont have ported getwork or some else tweak for sgminer?
(im using proxy for solo)

dont understand what are you trying to say
did u find and own these blocks or not?

Block 287651
http://explorer.ufocoin.co:2750/tx/62bc4edb1880f017e7a0a89880431abf15e1f9e300e62a206f66ea50c4174d77

Block 287652
http://explorer.ufocoin.co:2750/tx/8887c46563276783d8f860cae44ee78abc28445836e37900e1a11fc21231e746

no way knowing your time is right but:

UFO 287651 found at: (2014-11-19 16:26:59) - your time shows +18secs too late

UFO 287652 found at: (2014-11-19 16:27:37) - your time shows +12secs too late

so its possible that either of those bock were not yours

I love it when people challenge my credibility.

Do you really have that much faith/trust in your crypto overlords ?

Or maybe you are like most miners/investors who have become used to takin it up the hash ! Roll Eyes
