Why is Poramin open about his identity on Vertcoin's domain registration yet guards it under Zerovert?

Why did the Poramin username just pop up on bitcointalk and created on October 26th?

Why have we not heard anything in the official Vertcoin thread?

If Poramin really is behind this would he confirm it on his linkedin or facebook? Or update his own Vertcoin thread?

Sorry but it's all really fishy to me.

I agree, without offical confirmation from the Vertcoin dev team members mentioned in the OP.  Then I would be very careful before installing any closed source software released from a newbie account.

Is anyone else having some issues opening the qt wallet after the initial instal. Twice I have installed the wallet without issue only to find it will not load and crashes upon restarting it.

It works but only if i reindex every time I want to open the client.

It IS a closed source coin, there's no reason to do that imho. The only reason you'd need to launch a closed source coin is to hide something

My point was that bushido's github has zerovert in it, and he has contribute to the private github that is the location of the binaries also.

The close source makes sense if they have a good implementation of ZeroCoin and do not want other coins to clone the code (like what EXE kept doing with VTC)

Yeah but that is not an excuse for a closed source coin, for that matter, both BTC and LTC could've been made closed source and we wouldn't all be here in the first place.
Closed source crypto is a bad idea and should not be supported.

There is no volume on c-cex to support such a dump though, so that statement is meaningless, regardless of whether or not you trust the known developer.

Scrypt-n consumes a lot of electric power and I can not cover the cost of electricity although it is one of the cheapest in Europe (0.06 $). Even merged mining  VTC+Zerovert me not profitable. How is it possible that scrypt-n coins are still some miners? Is it possible that there are no secrets ASIC or FPGA and something else?Surely there is something I do not know.

It's not a secret that litecoingear has been offering n-scrypt fpga cloud mining for 3-5 months now ( http://ltcgear.com/product/tricoin-pack-m3/ ):

The product is able to mine, “out of the box”, Litecoin/Feathercoin (Scrypt), Darkcoin (X11) or Vertcoin (Scrypt-N).

Also, KNC titan miner was supposed to receive a firmware update that allowed it to mine n-scrypt ( https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-106 ):

The Titan was designed for several variants of the scrypt algorithm, including Scrypt-N. Titan's firmware is in continuous development and we'll update this space with new versions enabling new features as they become available.

Though I'm not sure how many people, if any, received a KNC titan that does.

Anyway, it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility there are other fpga miners besides ltcgear.
