OCUPY Trustless Web Wallet

We have been working on a Multisig BIP32 HD Hierarchical Deterministic wallet. We have resolved many of the issues that arise from using this code with OCUPY, however there are still some issues that we are yet to resolve. We have a few developers looking into this issue, we may also bring in a freelancer if required. As this is all cutting edge stuff.

These are currently the most secure wallets as you do not have to trust a 3rd party with your coins. At no point is your private key available to the server or anyone else.

Decentralized Marketplace
Work started on the Marketplace over a month ago. It has been put on the back burner while I concentrated on the Cloud Platform. Starting next week we will have a Dev working on this full time.

Decentralized Exchange
Development work has not started on the Decentralized Exchange we are still in the planning stage. This is a very large project, it will require significant development time, bug testing, Security testing and auditing.

When development starts in Q2 2015 we will have a larger pool of developers with a variety of skills that can make our dream a reality.

Mobile Wallets
Now that we have our Cloud Platform expect to see many new OCUPY Blockchain Applications. We may employ an outside contractor to develop the mobile wallets, this will free up time for other dev work.


Keep in mind, this is just the information that we WANT to be public. There are other very innovative ideas and developments coming out of the OCUPY Camp.

We will be releasing a decentralized donation platform for the Occupy movement and any other groups that wish to accept donations without the risk of big brother freezing their funds like they did with Wikileaks. This platform will be the first service to run on the user hosted OCUPY Web Nodes. Government actors could take down multiple points in the chain and the network would still be available.The user interface will be accessed via OCUPY.net. However, if we lost the OCUPY.net platform donations could still be sent sent direct while we bring OCUPY.net online. Each Group/Movement will have 3 representatives that will hold a key to the groups wallet, a minimum of 2 keys will be required to withdraw funds. The management of the wallets happens inside the users browser. This means that exploiting the server and gaining access would not give them access to your coins.

In order for us to build scalable decentralized services, we will be allowing user to run OCUPY Web Nodes and be paid for doing so. users These nodes will be able to support various OCUPY Services.
