trying the android wallet. it looks like it was rushed
It wasn't "rushed", but it is the desktop client cross-compiled for Android. The existing desktop client is a QWidgets application, which doesn't really play nice on mobile as far as dpi-awareness etc. so you get some weird stuff with font sizes etc. XAI will be getting a complete wallet rewrite with a focus on a user experience that is more in line with what you would expect on a phone, tablet, and phablet. That said, XQN with the blake-256 PoS algorithm is probably the most well-suited for staking on a mobile device since blake-256 is not as resource-intensive.

well i dont actually use my android phone so i can leave it charging while staking. how can i back my wallet if it is in an android phone?
@whoever can answer what is the purpose of xqn and xai? is it xqn powering xai or vice versa? is it xqn funding xai or vice versa. it isnt clear on what ive read or im just dumb haha. thinking buying xai cause it is related to xqn but im thinking if xqn is a better buy than xai because of high stake rewards
The linkage between xqn and xai was simply that we were going to put a feature in XQN that consumes the XAI blockchain application platform as kind of a reference client to demonstrate how to do it. For that feature you would be using XQN to pay for use. Don't forget that XAI also has an 11% PoS interest rate.

Probably around 25-30 million. Would not there be a deflation in prices then?

The significant updates affecting Quotient/XQN, rely on development progress on Sapience/XAI. Very briefly, CedricQuotient provided new testnet binaries just a day or two ago (mostly bug fixes), and coding continues full steam ahead. Impatient ones, be gone

Im sure most people aren't slightly worried. For any mid range hands I would call them, Do not sell the weak hands are doing this to the charts. Swoop in at these prices while you can. Just gotta wait for the banks to open so I can buy more btc and get them

Good morning, hope everybody in Quotient-land had a good weekend. All's quiet on the Quotient front for now... did some experimenting this weekend with the more recent Bitcoin Core codebase, that will probably be the next wallet update for Quotient, to rebase it on the newer refactored code and then pull in Gavin's signature caching optimization, and try to squeeze more performance out of the Quotient wallet.

if the amount of XQN is going up then the value is just going to decrease over time. Therefore owning this coin is pointless.
