I would like to nominate Evan Duffield (bctuser eduffield), the DarkCoin developper for all his innovations. Darkcoin offers complete financial privacy, and with InstantX transactions verified in <20 seconds. Darkcoin is #2 most active user community after #bitcoin itself, and its capitalization is among top 3 altcoins, often spiking to equals the one of LTC. Ok.
Lets re-cap.
"The turbulence in our cryptosphere has made it difficult at times to spot out the real leaders – the true innovators. We have introduced the Proof of Honor as an award to acknowledge the achievement of those who have brought to this environment something new and exciting. Those who have worked hard to stand by their philosophy despite all difficulty and criticism. Some have risked their identity; others have risked their integrity."
Ok, looking at the nominations.
Which of these Devs have brought something New and Exciting to the Cryptoworld?
(thinking) Rat4 - Inventor of PoS ? (is that correct?) Evan Duffield - Inventor of Darksend - for bringing the first anon coin to Crypto? Jackson Palmer - Inventor of the most talked about and best community the crypto world has and will ever see. J. Bosch - Inventor of the first, true, stand alone HTML5 wallet.
Who else am i missing from this list? Its hard to tell what developers have created something unique for crypto.
Also, what is vital in this voting. The awards should only be given to people, who are easily 'verified'. By this is mean, you know exactly who they are and can even get in contact with them if you wanted to.
And never go to any Dev who is 100% secretive and unknown.
I don't think rat4 has invented POS, but he did come with the POS-only solution. Also he fixed a lot of smaller issues that were present in the client. An interesting user- experience read can be found here: http://yescrypto.wordpress.com/2014/07/21/blackcoin-be-a-leader/ (tl;dr read the Blackcoin Pros: Development Skills section) - As for the HTML5 wallet, a google search shows: 3rd of October http://www.cryptoarticles.com/crypto-news/new-shadowcash-client-is-the-first-ever-cryptobrowser-html5-wallet- ShadowCash 8th of October http://www.coinssource.com/io-coin-design-meets-function-html5-wallet-pos-3-0/- IOCoin But those are articles. I have no idea which coin was first. -- I'd like to make a nomination for Rynomaster, the ShadowCash developer aswell. We might be hearing more from that camp once they've got zk-snarks implemented on the mainnet.

Peercoin invented the first version of POS, Novacoin cloned and tweaked Peercoin and Blackcoin cloned Novacoin. Blackcoin is a hybrid as it is ultimately based on a hybrid (Peercoin), only it's POW phase is over as it only lasted a week. Nxt was the first pure, 100% POS crypto. And I am repeating myself from about 6 months ago, I am surprised this is still being put out there...

I vote for the clean work behind Sterlingcoin - Spencer Leivens.

Maybe I should code a Tipping bot, instead of these well-known DDos bots. I would tip your Wallets until these were overloaded.

I gotta second this vote, dude has rocked out updates and features like no other coin and his project has not seen even close to the attention it should. Seems like SFR has been one of the most undervalued coins in crypto for a while now!
