Everyone who is using Antpool and get rewarded like everyday should calculate that how much they losing in fees when Antpool sending reward share to miners. Example if you earn 0.011BTC per day and they sending that to you using 0.001 fee you lose 10% of all incomes+Pool fee+no tx fees.

Yep, they could save money by just taking their reward weekly.

why would a pool charge you a fee to send you your own payout?

The same reason they do everything else they do. They can. Before the halving I was fairly certain most all personal miners would have found a different pool to mine with because they lost exactly half of their revenue. I mean sure everyone did but the pools that pay tx to miners offset that halving at least somewhat. I believe most people mining here have no idea exactly how much they get per block and think, look we did 25 blocks today and I am waiting on all this BTC. If they realized they could be making much more per block at a smaller pool they'd be fools to stay here. But we are talking about people.

why would a pool charge you a fee to send you your own payout?

Why would you expect them to create a fee-less transaction? Are you a miner or not?

lol seriously?

for 1, antpool keeps the tx fees.. so you are paying them TWICE..
and 2, they can make a tx and put it in their own work and not have a fee.. it would probably even go through faster that way..

100% correct - far better pools out there now

what about this BTC pool by Bitmain - no fees

https://us.pool.btc.com/pool-stats

how does this relate to Antpool - same owners?

Is BTC Pool by Bitmain going to supercede Antpool?

Anyone?

When people educate themselves on how Antpool reward system compare to other pools Idk why they would mine here. Maybe for the people that mine here dont speak here because they dont want ppl to know they mine at antpool.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/5aqz4d/bitmains_new_xinjiang_farm_to_be_completed_this/

Anyone who is still mining at Antpool needs to switch ASAP. If Antpool gets more than 50% of the hashrate it will be the death of Bitcoin.
