P2POOL could do with a booster, if your moving away from Antpool.
you should all be at Kano.is No they shouldn't. Not only would that be incredibly irresponsible, but Kano would prevent it on his side first. He's stated many times that he doesn't believe any pool should be greater than 10% of the network's hash, and he would actively stop his pool from allowing new miners should he ever grow to be that big. The hash should be spread out... some to kano, some to me, some to bitminter, some to mmpool, some to p2pool, some to bcmonster, etc. Well said! I 100% fully support this idea, but sadly human psychology and/or greed will prevent this from becoming a reality unless it was hard-coded into the BTC protocol.

Bitmain continues to try to hide it's control of the Bitcoin network. It's now blatantly running 4 pools (and who knows what other pools it controls)
Antpool 22% Bixin 8% BTC.com 6% BTCConnect 0.2%
Beware of this shady company ...

Bixin used to be HaoBTC, are you sure they are Bitmain? Just like BTCConnect (which of course Bitmain themselves confirmed is Bitmain), they use the Bitmain website code and the links point to BTC.com There's no reason why a pool would purposefully point their miners to visit Bitmain's pool unless they were either stupid or it didn't matter since they are Bitmain. Also why would HaoBTC change to be 'something else' ...

I'm surprised there is no discussion about BIP 148/UASF on here. How does Bitmain and its pools plan to deal with this upcoming deadline. From what I read it I take it that Bitmain does not support BIP 148 but will it go so far as to fight against the vote of bitcoin users (nodes)? This is a very important issue and it needs to be discussed in an open and honest manner.

I was just cleaning up some bookmarks and noticed that my old saved title of this thread was this: BITMAIN announces Antpool: Pushing forward DecentralizationIt's interesting that somewhere along the line they removed that "Decentralization" part from the thread title, just like they're trying to do in real life

Who can estimate how probable is current "bad luck" streak with respect to their claimed hashrate and number of blocks mined during the last 8 days? https://www.antpool.com/poolStats.htmThey claim 1+EH/s but mine like 800-850PH/s recently. It seems like they steal from hashnest clients who can not switch to another pool.

Its weird how the "lucky" for each coin on antpool is 100%...even coins that show 0 mined blocks show 100% "lucky". That doesnt sound normal right??

What the hell is up with payouts? Why are 3 day payouts still not confirmed or sent out? Am I missing something here or did they stop payouts around the whole Aug 1'st drama.

Not sure about antpool, but hashnest have stopped all services till the 3rd Aug, there was a post on the bitmain forum. All users on hashnest, please be advised below. To avoid risk of the possible bitcoin fork, hashnest decide to stop all the services for bitcoin wallet , hashrate market and PACMIC contracts payback during 2017/07/31 8:00-2017/08/03 8:00 beijing time. 为防止比特币网络有可能分叉引起的重放攻击, 自北京时间2017年7月31日8:00-2017年8月3日8:00 停止所有BTC钱包充值提现以及算力市场交易 合约返款以及利润分配。
