Just wait for the man who can do this to you mate, i want to help you but i do not know how to used paypal, hoping that someone who have a good heart could read your post to help you about your concern but my recommendation to you just choose the users who have good reputation and higher rank in thos forum in short trusted escrow to make your money safe, just give small fee to them and they appriciate that.

Perhaps you could ask the OP @marcotheminer to either close the thread, or put a link to the "new" thread (started fourteen months before this one...  Roll Eyes )

you only need to pay according to buyer and escrow service, the seller will send the item to you, and then you release escrow if you have received the purchase according to your agreement

I'm here recently and did not fully understand how it works. Why do some escrow have 0% fees? Does this mean that they will not take money for their services? Thank you in advance.

It's because they just want to help those people to have a successful transaction so they offer 0% fees for their escrow service. They are known and trusted by the bitcoin community so any tip will do, that's the another term now for the fee though it's not actually a fee or payment for their service. But of course as a part of appreciation for their help, it's a good act if both parties will agree to give them tip voluntarily so that next time that you need them then you can have them.

Usually they are on low transactions. For example no one will keep 2 bitcoin without fee for a long time. To be fair it usually happens when escrower is new in this job but trustwortht or escrow isn't his/her job and does it when someone asks for.
But 0% fee doesn't includes transaction fee, you cut it from your money and that's fair.
And what didn't you understand? I'll try to help.

Still not clear for me. Escrow actually is responsible person, why does he not paid for this? (I mean cases with 0%)

Well most of the escrows dont actually have to be paid they want is the reputation and trust of many users as possible because their job is so easy. Paying an escrow isnt necessary but some users tipped them for their work and time so keeping a reputable account will make you more money because every users will try to tip your time.

... because their job is so easy.

That depends on the job. Simple transactions are easy. Multi-sig isn't as easy, and multiple addresses involve more work, and ICOs or holding dev funds and bounty payments and all that involve even more work.

LOL! Their job isn't so easy at all. There are escrows that are even working with companies that are entrusting them with hundred of thousands to millions worth of bitcoin. And there's a lot of work for them to secure that amount will be secured. As Dabs said multi sig, bounty payments and other tasks that are related to the contract if there's any. Before I think I can be a potential escrow but later on understanding the true nature of being an escrow, I stopped thinking about it anymore.

Should you need any dedicated escrow services, please see our website:

www.btc.legal

I'm a Canadian lawyer in Montreal, with nearly 30 years of experience. Unless many escrow services, we have a brick and mortar place. Also, any escrow made with us is guaranteed under the Quebec Bar laws. This means you are transaction is safe and insure.
