Awful change. You went from using betfair markets to another Pinny clone.
There are at least a half dozen books out there now just rehashing this exact same stuff. Completely unnecessary IMO.
I will say on your behalf that the site navigation is very quick, faster than any other on this lineset, but if your fees are going to be higher than your competitors I see no reason to bet here.
Unfortunate change, IMO. Hopefully you keep the old site and run them side by side.
We're sorry to know that you preferred our exchange model.
If you take the time to compare our odds with others / competition, you'll find that ours are very attractive, like they were on the exchange.
Additionally, on SportsBook there are no winning fees, you receive what the odds tell.
The BetBTC exchange is deprecated, and we have no plans to keep a version of it active.
Hey!
I've been using your service for a while and just noticed the redesign. Even though I like the visual part of it (it's much clearer), I really miss the exchange betting part. Therefore I have two questions:
1) Why have you decided to replace exchange betting with regular bookie?
2) What is your commission right now?
Bests
1) The main reason why we re-designed the website, was because it's very hard to keep consistency and volume, every-time, on every markets.
BetBTC maturated financially during the last 5 years, and we are now prepared and comfortable to provide this model, which was more difficult if not impossible on the early days.
Another reason is that we also detected since the beginning, that 95% of our volume was produced from Single Back Bets and "against" our liquidity providers (almost never genuinely user v user because very few people had patience to feed the market) - To perform these kind of bets it's not necessary an exchange.
To finalise, the 2 most requested features were the Live Betting & the Parlay, which is impossible to implement on an exchange.
2) There is no commission, odd is 100% transparent.
