Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I'm pretty close to selling a few hundred, so maybe I can help out a little.  Gotta think about it a little more.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

The SR hack doesn't seem all that serious yet, it's at least currently limited to certain pictures which have been all removed by the admins. That's not saying it won't get worse but at least right now it's not that serious.

Enough, the price won't make any huge movements at this point, the only way up is the slow upward grind and that means when using leverage interest rates become significant.

good point.

can you or someone else explain the significance of hacking a site on Tor?  is it no more difficult than hacking a site outside of Tor?  is it important to know the ip address of a site you hack?  does this provide an effective way for a gov't to disrupt SR despite not being able to find them or prevent their use of Bitcoin?

Not completely. Keep in mind I'm invested in ALT cryptos too.

But if you must ask I'm more than 75% sold out if I had to estimate. Price could run away from here and it wouldn't matter to me. Profits are already locked in.

IMO it's not more difficult than hacking a site outside of TOR. TOR is not some kind of magical protection from everything, it only provides a certain amount of anonymity and some kind of firewall/portfilter. So actually it's not important to know the real IP-Address of the site you hack, as long as the server can be reached by other means (TOR in this case). If the government (but IMO that's a big if) can hack into SR's servers, they might be able to suspend their service or find out the real IP and its owners.
