I have no source.  Which is why I used the word "might".  I was speculating, like everyone else in this thread.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

Is Adam a bull again? Yeah, we need bears to slaughter. How about proudhon? lucif?

You rang?  This is surely the top, and a bubble pop is probably just around the corner.

Ok, I think I see where you're coming from.  You believe in the "doughnut" shaped market and that we'll eventually go up from $30 and wrap all the way around back to zero.

But as everyone else knows, a Proudhun posting is the clearest sign that we're still in rally mode.

As soon as Proudhorn turns Bullish, I'm selling  Grin

I agree but wonder if it is one or two hedge funds who are expecting 100 hedge funds to move in soon and are buying all the cheap coins now. Honestly if no one wants to sell BTC and millions get poured in daily the price will get crazy stupid quickly.
+1 And there are small investors coming in also, little by little. I DON'T mean the 420 kids at SR either!  Cheesy

I am done selling, because whenever i sold, i lost money, no matter which exchange i was using from 2010 to present day. The MtG rate is manipulated now, but at least we can see it, unlike back in the days of the MtG dark pool shenanigans.

Also, it seems to me that B doesn't yet lend itself to tech analysis by anyone except market movers, MtG staff, and traders who go to church regularly, Cheesy because the biggest possible players are not in the B market YET.

can you post here the definition for a hedge fund and a short description of how a hedge funds work just to know we are talking about the same thing

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hedge_fund
bah u did it on the easy way :/

hedge funds get their name because they hedge their positions on the market
example go long on oil futures and long on airlines stocks
1 if oil goes up let the oil futures run in profits cut the airlines stock
2 if oil goes down cut the futures and let the airlines stock run in profits

how you hedge in bitcoin world ?

Originally hedge funds used to hedge, as in your example, but nowadays any strategy goes. Being long in BTC is a possibility. The problem however, is that they normally want to buy financial products within a strict legal framework. The Coinlab deal is a first step towards making this possible, the ultimate goal would be a Bitcoin ETF.

Why is that? A Bitcoin ETF will make it possible for immense amounts of fiat to flow into Bitcoin.

Source to back up your generalizing statement?

I have no source.  Which is why I used the word "might".  I was speculating, like everyone else in this thread.

I think it's 99% true, the early guys got in at $0.001/BTC, and when BTC hit $10, any sensible guy will cash out for a 1000X profit, even if BTC reach $100 that's just 10X more profit, why would they risk it all for 10X more profit, when they already got 1000X.

Because then they'd have 10,000x profit?

Sounds great to me.

If you owned something which made a thousand-fold profit in a year, you'd be an idiot to sell it all. If you just sold half you're suddenly a well-to-do man and can still dream of one day being part of the new, wealthy elite.
