Also, when deflation of btc, most just hold the btc instead of invest or spend it cause only high risk/reward is worth doing to get a better return. That could be bad for bitcoin economy.

Please save that for one of the dozens of other threads discussing (and debunking) it.

Most of us are busy trying to be irrationally exuberant, here. Smiley

I was just looking at this 10 minutes ago and I'm like, maybe he's off by a dollar. It's high $41s and certainly not $42s... *looks again*, well I'll be....

That didn't last long.  Easily $43 or higher before the night's out I'll say.

Oh Loaded, who art up in Mt. Gox, hallowed be thy name!  Thy dollars rain, thy will be done, on BTCUSD.  Give us this day our daily 10% 30%, and forgive the bears, as we have bought their bitcoins.  And lead us into quadruple digits

Yes I know that's redacted.  It lasted about the length of me typing out that post to already bypass it.  Bitcoin, you crazy thing!  All the <3

Was there an insanely huge buy I missed (I'm not watching the charts activley) or is it really just a case of no sellers/sellers caught flat footed?

That last candle is in the process of being made. It's got many hours to go before it's done. It'd be more appropriate to look at yesterday.

The scale on the Bitcoin Charts all data chart has now changed.  http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/mtgoxUSD#igDailyztgSzm1g10zm2g25zvzl

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

I always have admiration for some peoples' uncanny ability to find bearish indicators in every trend.
