gox trade lag = 12 minutes
Hmm, I wonder if MtGox lag influenced the crash. I don't expect it to go lower than $30 through.

my feelings exactly. Everyone is so afraid of not knowing whats going on they sell, then they come to their senses and mtgox doesnt let you cancel anything, and it just gets worse.

So...  was the peak $49.099?  That's the best information I can gather, but Gox and CM are both so FUBAR right now, it's difficult to be sure

gox trade lag = 12 minutes

Seriously, MagicalTux, you there?

It looks like your active-passive cluster can't really handle the spikes. Where is the bottleneck? CPU? I/OF transactions?
Wouldn't it be time to replace that active-passive cluster with something more distributed?
Transactional integrity is a problem in such systems. Maybe Galera Cluster?

Looks like we found a bear that still had some bite left in him.  Even though it did wipe out "yesterday's" gains, it's still up and green, let alone we'll see what happens today / tonight.

Edit.  Yeah also wondering what systems they have over there.  Can't connect to the live charts all day and sometimes the whole site's been down.

Oh Loaded, who art up in Mt. Gox, hallowed be thy name!  Thy dollars rain, thy will be done, on BTCUSD.  Give us this day our daily 10% 30%, and forgive the bears, as we have bought their bitcoins.  And lead us into quadruple digits

everyone is having issues. They should halt trading so people can cool off if they can't handle the volume.

After this I think i'll be more inclined to trade elsewhere.  Undecided

I can watch gox from afar and hopefully trade on a better run exchange.
