Yes you are quoting our homepage, so now we cannot do any marketing strategy at all?
In most places, it is not legal to lie in marketing.

Then don't market in the US. There are terms that have specific meanings and you can't just throw them out as marketing speak. Insurance is one of them. If you claim to be insured in your marketing material, you'd better be able to provide a policy, name, and contact info for some sort of underwriter who provides insurance. Such things in the US are enforced at the federal level by the FTC and in each state, probably by the Attorney General's office.

Sounds like they should be marketing in Lagos Nigeria.

End of the day - the project is a few days old, getting attacked as we are now is out of order - I know you have your personal vendetta against Garza so take it up on him and not me. If any of you want to talk to me let me know, or come visit me in Australia instead of bashing a guy without any real evidence.

The project was first announced as a pre-announcement picture which therefore leads one to believe that Mr. Garza was involved in this new few days old project before it became a few days old project...

Because of this, you are associated with him and his currently and massively (in my opinion) failing company/coin.

Either deal with it or prove beyond a reasonable (and by reasonable I mean deemed reasonable by a non-hashtalk member) doubt that Mr. Garza is not in any way associated with your exchange.

Dude the only reason he knew about it was because we received the Coin-Swap code and agreed to host PayCoin on there to help the community as we were part of it and his PayBase was shutting down.

"Dude"...

It doesn't matter.  Mr. Garza's name outside of hashtalk/paycoin/etc is considered less than honorable.  When you are associated with someone like that, in any way, you get that "stench" on you and/or your company.

The only way to remove it is to take a very open and very thorough "bath".

Until your project is proven beyond a reasonable (again, reasonable according to a non-hashtalk member) doubt to not be associated with Mr. Garza, you are guilty until proven innocent.  You took a very valuable asset (Coin-Swap) in exchange for only listing XPY?  Really?  That's the only condition?

Own it or fix it.

Yes this is the only condition. We took the code and improved it heaps, i am trying to fix it this is why i am here. I am not asking for your blessing, time will tell just these attacks are a bit out of order.

You are willfully helping Garza prolong his scam but that makes you an accomplice. Why are you doing this to yourself, especially at this late stage? How myopic can one be to help Garza now!

Mineral is located in HK (currently XPY Limited HK, name change has been confirmed btw) for obvious reasons. Our dev and support team will be located in the UK for the stated reasons that you just posted.

Again, who can I call to make sure you're fully insured like you claim?

Dont quite follow you? Your coins are secured by Mineral International Limited. We will soon be releasing how our secured offline wallets are setup.

Simple question...what company is insuring the coins???

Soon you will know... SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON

At least this guy really "improved" the code...

https://hashtalk.org/topic/35959/mineral-com-withdrawl-issue/4

Improved it so much it's having the same problems sending coins out... but not receiving them...  Correct me if I'm wrong, but the pre-Garza Coin-Swap didn't have this problem...

I am invested into PayCoin and I want it to succeed, if I can help by offering services to it then I will add it? PayCoin is now ran by the foundation and I seen that they are doing an update to the wallets on github so it is not dead yet, if it dies then fair enough, it will be removed from our services just like any other coin.

In most places, it is not legal to lie in marketing.

Agreed, updated. No serious affects, no personal losses etc. Our volume is small, we will get there.
At this point why dont you tell us what wasnt a lie or misrepresentation. The whole thing is a sham. Like I said earlier I would just shut it down and start over.

Its misrepresentation, fixed. Insurance not ready, so we wont lie.
We haven't even started so we cant shut down and start fresh.

Well, actually that's the best time to start over again. You won't get the GAW stink off of Mineral, ever. Also, not lying is a good business model.

Adam Matlack 1/5/2014: "Not but 30 seconds later, the Holy Spirit slapped me upside the head and said "what are you thinkin'? What are you doin'?" It was an emphatic "NO". And I got - just guilt started to cover me"

I have just pulled down the records for Mineral International Ltd

It would seem Mr Vadala is both the secretary and the sole Director of the company, all from a registered office address.

Both highly suspect and is the usual modus operandi of a shady operation here in the UK.

He thinks we don't remember that Garza changed his avatar to minerals almost a month ago maybe more?  He was also going off about how no one could guess his new project.  Not anyone elses project he was supporting HIS project.  I mean you're not really going to make us start digging this stuff up, then I'll have to start tweeting like crazy.  How about you stop lying and get real transparent real fast although I doubt that will help you got GAW fleas and you can't shake that shit off.

So Mineral plans on being an exchange connected somehow to the UK?
This will be interesting as I am currently working closely with a leading legal (crypto specialists) company as my business is in similar fields and as such we have had to tread very carefully with licensing and what we can and can't do within legal/license parameters when handling, buying and selling BTC and digital currency.

We are also working with a few exchanges/processors so have a clear understanding of whats required to make this all work.

KYC and AML being the most obvious ball-aches and something that for some reason gets mentioned so rarely here by people who are planning to take over the world with their grand visions. Now, remotely operating a business of this nature? Good luck, you may need it. The regulatory requirements alone will have you jumping through hoops. And don't try to launch a service without the right paperwork, cardinal sin and worthy of a real ass kicking from the law...

Incorrect.

I stand corrected.

I would suggest then that if you're looking to do development in UK borders you are better off going to the Isle of Man for IP and taxation reasons. The recent updates to the regulations over there will keep you busy and straight. Worth checking out.

Cryptsy is an exchange, not affiliated with Garza. You are trying to be an exchange, that is affiliated with Garza. If law enforcements reveal that Garza funded you, e.g. by buying the domain name, that isn't gonna be good for you. I will ask this again - why are you doing this to yourself?

Yes. Yes, I am...

we have updated the homepage to suit BTCTalk people's needs.

... because of this kind of attitude. It's not "BTCTalk people" you need to worry about. I hope you understand that and your grandstanding here is just some kind of overreaction.

it won't be anything to do with stealing people's money.

Now why would you even mention stealing people's money is puzzling to say the least.

I get that on Cryptsy and other exchanges sometimes, so one issue makes it right to post that... stop trolling seriously. You will see that FastXPY has always responded and fixed issues so no need trolling.

Craptsy and "other exchanges" get shit on for it too... your Garza'd exchange is the only one who apparently can't take the "trolling"

The obvious solution is to change the name of this exchange to something that fits the business model:

When you sell the Mineral.com domain you can give me a 2 BTC finders fee and keep the $74,490 difference of switching over to this great name.
I will even toss in a catchy slogan for free:
HotelCaliforniaExchange: You can check out your coins any time you want, but they can never leave.™
