It's sad when you have to convince a company not to be complicit in fraud
"we were not doing it for any sort of profit" You know, because Cryptsy is a charity, not a for profit company. Please stop trying to play everyone for fools, Mullick. P.S: It's sad when you have to convince a company not to be complicit in fraud
We were never going to be. The whole point was for us to do everything we can to stop the fraud. And perhaps help a few people who lost a great deal of money to the whole mess of a situation to recover part of what they lost. And helping inflate the supply of XPY helps people recover what they lost how? Complete and total idiocy.

All of my posts are simply statements of my own personal opinions based on available information and pondering what might be possible considering human nature, with the goal of finding truth and preventing fraud. Please look at all of the facts and theories and put your thinking cap on to draw your own conclusions. If you feel that I have made a false statement or have been unnecessarily derogatory, I encourage you to please point it out, and if proven correct and/or reasonable I will remedy it. ~ Paul Revere

that can be true for now. you can decide tomorrow that this is part of your loyalty program and give staked coins to your customers (globally). its based on your whims
also scraping is done manually i think so you could abuse 350% stake if you so decide. you have a vote in paycoins future cryptsy is not neutral. you are directly involved with the coin
its all totally fucked up

It will be interesting to see how the concept of barrier to entry (125,000 coins) plays out in real life. With the price of the coin so low that barrier isn't nearly as high as initially conceived: $17,500 (spot price market rise would certainly increase this) vs $2.5 Million USD.
If anyone has 125,000 coins why would they compound stake or do something else nefarious towards the coin? Also wouldn't dumping that many coins at once accomplish a similar end goal?

Huge premine being sold off onto holders and exchanges profiting on the way down, doesn't matter if you can sell into holders.

Look at the addresses we provided the second we announced the node. No coins have moved. How has the benefitted cryptsy in any way? Bribing customers with some handouts so they choose your exchange is definitely a for profit move. Actively engaging in the continuance of the Paycoin scam so Cryptsy can continue to profit from trades is definitely a for profit move. You sir, are a very poor fucking liar. Please stop trying to play everyone for fools.

There are no 350% node anymore. And our node if offline at this time If we started dumping the coins or distributing them now we can clearly see the backlash that would cause. We wont be doing that

I changed your quote below: that can be true for now. you can decide tomorrow that this is part of your loyalty program and give staked coins to your customers (globally). its based on your whims
also scraping is done manually i think so you could abuse 350% 100% stake [rate by compounding] if you so decide. you have a vote in paycoins future cryptsy is not neutral. you are directly involved with the coin
its all totally fucked up

At the time we thought the community would see that as a good thing vs. The foundation or GAW doing whatever they please with the coins and giving no transparency. Based on the reaction we can see that is not the case

So I was wrong, there is apparently a minimum. Which makes the leaked keys somewhat less dangerous - to make use of them someone would have to spend $20k or whatever the exchange rate is now.

At the time we thought the community would see that as a good thing vs. The foundation or GAW doing whatever they please with the coins and giving no transparency. Based on the reaction we can see that is not the case It funny how everyone gets a PC says they want to be transparent and they will not dump any coins but once the PC's are put in their hands things change! Look at the foundation and Adam, they said they would be transparent and not coins would be sold off but yet they sold "some" off to pay server bills? It very hard to turn off that money printing xpy PC, all units should have been reduced to 10% rate across the board on the first fork then inflation would have been corrected the first time instead of pissing around with additional forks (Coming SOON™). As for a coin exchange also getting involved in a known corrupt coin at this point in time its stupid on Cryptsy's part and they will face the consequences of their actions.

Crestington,
Is there any way to identify if someone starts staking with these keys? Would we just see extra inflation on the chain?
