Ok fair enough. What if it was regulated?

When it says "Member FDIC" on paybase.com we should definitely revisit this topic.

Yeah sorry I edited the topic too late. This is what was answered to the verification question to access paybase.

Q: Do I need to get verified to trade PayCoin and Bitcoin for FIAT on PayBase?
A: PayBase will follow all local regulations and AML compliance laws. Verification will be required and KYC policies will be in place.

So they really need to be compliant with all the local regulations to even think of doing USD or even EUR. Now with the Visa card they will need to be compliant because Visa would not be allowed to do business with them otherwise.

We shall wait and see, but as I said above it needs to go far beyond money laundering regulations to be of any use to the customer.

You seem to put a lot of trust into what the CEO says, I tend to think he lies quite a lot, maybe that's the difference. Think how the coin was hyped and how it turned out to be - that's how I imagine Paybase. Launched as a barely working skeleton with all the good stuff "coming soon". Some features may be forgotten and/or replaced with "better" features in a more distant future.

Not much time left to speculate, only a week to go...

The coin is indeed hyped beyond all reasonable measures. But if what I suspect is true then paybase is really not something thought up by GAW. GAW is/was mainly a cloud mining company reseller of mining equipment. I think they got another entity that wants to stay out of the light at the moment to push the whole paybase thing. It really is too big for a simple company like GAW. I suspect there is a whole other side to this. No I have no proof. Paybase feels like an addon by someone else not GAW. A bank maybe or a big financial institution that wants to start with crypto and be the first to have something like paybase.

Homero fiddles while Rome is burning.

He forgot how to use the internet? Could be a good thing.

"Average buy orders" LOL

If we include the 1 satoshi ones, weighed by volume, not very good Smiley

Astounding arrogance knowing that there is no liquidity and no transactions.

I thought josh had the big exchanges and other things on speed dial? Can't he just ask them or check those sites out? Next we'll see the exchanges under strain like authy from all the trades being done on paycoin. It'll be like this.

Twitter

CEO_GAW - Just got off the phone from cryptsy who said we were stressing their rackspace. XPY does 200 times the transaction volume of any other coin... and its all because of you!!

CEO_GAW - Just got off the phone from my mom... she tried to pay her grocery bill with fiat and the store would only take paycoin - wow the fastest growing crypto ever!!

CEO_GAW - We literally crashed the powergrid in our town. The mayor just spoke to me and said josh you made paycoin too popular. There is too much power draw from all the houses with people mining. You need to slow down.

CEO_GAW - I just heard from bill gates... he said we crashed the interwebs from too much paycoin. Its all thanks to you guys!! HASH ON!!

I have already moved 2.5 BTC out of zen cloud today. I am trying to move another 1BTC out and it keep saying I have another transaction in progress. Try again later. But I don't, tickets been open for 3 hours. I want out before this all comes down!

I had to sell my virtual mining shares for a 50% loss of over 3k and I still feel better then a 100% loss of everything. NOW LET ME TAKE MY MONEY OUT!

It really is not about the get quick rich scheme it's about Paybase. And BTC will be a very big part of Paybase and probably other coins will follow I really would like to see DOGE in there with the community behind that it would again help all crypto. If they can add only one of the mentioned merchants to use it it will help adoption of crypto go in the fast lane.

But it seems nobody has even bothered to look at the whole plan. There is so much information available already.

Everybody seems to be hung up on Paycoin but that is just a small piece of the whole puzzle. Like I said BTC will have a big role to play in this too. The credit card connected to a wallet for whatever coin or even multiple coins is never been done before.

Please stop with the "nobody actually understands paycoin but me".

What you fail to understand is that 100% of what GAW is doing has been done before. (correct me if I'm wrong)

if anyone wants to see how a liar uses his bodylanguage, watch Josh

You don't need a psychology diploma to identify his gestures and body pose as those of a person who is feeling very uncomfortable and hiding things. I guess, his hands and balls must be very sweaty.
