This is a very good point. We must check our emotions at the door when we trade. Otherwise we make stupid decisions!

His argument is weak. You're missing out on infinite other opportunities right now and you're not even aware of them. There's no point singling out Bitcoin.

I like hedging on currency pairs. One currency will always out-perform the other's losses.

Right, except you don't know if you're picking the right one.

Not really. You can have a pretty good idea which currency pair is going to move that day based on popular media.
Then if you trade the same amount on each side of the currency pair you can wait to see which one is moving the most and stop-out on the other.
The down side is you have to be near your computer most of the day.

Follow the trends! That's the easy part. You just have to identify the trends and then you will be all set!

I read this on Bitcoin.co.id blog Cheesy

  • Holding Bitcoin means you're holding the goods to be sold.
  • Holding money means you're looking for the best position to buy Bitcoin.

I am finding it a lot harder to make money these day with Bicoin trading.
There is a lot less volatility and movement. Any suggestions?

Use a good indicator and stick with it.

Whats that indicator? I dont see how one would decide on how the trend will go up or down with that. Can you explain?

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Buy when there is despair and all hope is lose.

Sell when everyone is buying and think bitcoin is the future.

Right, this is 100% correct.

Buy when there is despair and all hope is lose. Silkroad was shut down by FBI and btc went down to 70 USD, and after a few days, btc went up to 1200 USD.

Sell when everyone is buying and think bitcoin is the future. Example: when DELL accepts btc, btc went up from 500 USD to 680 USD, but several days ago, it went down.
