I allways want to have my trading funds in bitcoin, so i only sell when im really sure the price is overhyped,
still didnt sell since last rebuy, and probably wont sell under 290 in following month. Maybe im bagholding, but it sure is better to baghold than to miss the boat,
and that will happen , sooner or later.
honsetly , i think this is gonna go to 1k again , so i'd reccomend holding

Do you remember why bitcoin hit 1k? I don't think the same situation could be recreated.

Buy low on a marketplace, then sell it higher on another marketplace. Sometime it will not profitable, due to trade fee and the fee when send/withdraw from the first marketplace to the second marketplace.

This is typical strategy, how do you know when low is low enough and how can you be positive there will be a high? There is a reason people in shares lose money and its considered risky business.

Since about two weeks i'm selling all my altcoins for bitcoins.

I do not save for it. I do it more quickly, 2 days at the latest.
I want to get results every day, though not much.
if after 2 days altcoin not bought, then I cancel it. and look for another altcoin

No, this strategy is different. This is using the different price on different marketplace. One is lower, another are higher.

I have noticed the bitcoin price fluctuates from a new high and new low every week or so. The hard part is identifying those little peaks and valleys. Definitely not science, but works for me.

Yes, this would be the equivalent of hedging, wouldn't it?

For me, I will split my trade to buy at different time period so that I don't buy all at the same time at the same price. If I execute a trade at 230, I would wait for it to drop further to 210 before putting in another order at the same amount. By doing this, I essentially buying at the average price of 220. Works for me thus far.

averaging in the down trend works perfectly fine, under assumption that the down trend reverses before you are left with empty pockets. Happened to many traders in the gold market, as last bear is already almost 4 year long.

One thing I haven't tried is trading between the various cryptocurrencies. Anyone have success with this?

Exactly, there is no other "method" for trading.  This is the only way you can trade and be profitable.
