I did a lot of math  and I do

1) westhash set for a p=0.016
2) kano--------------------------------------- 0.9% fee should work over the chance of two 500% blocks in a row.
3) f2pool--------------------------------------4.0% fee is not as good as 0.9% with no penalty until two 500% blocks in  row


I used https://mining.bitcoinaffiliatenetwork.com/   but they have been paying too slow

Any reason why you don't have NiceHash as pool #2 with the same profitability value? I've got mine configured that way in case WestHash is down but NiceHash is up. Of course when profitability doesn't match it has to fail over twice, but that doesn't seem like a big deal.

Too bad you have to change the "p" value every 2016 blocks. I really wish NiceHash would let us specify this as a percentage. That way it doesn't matter what happens to the difficulty.

Yeah, that is nice. I really prefer the SP20 interface over the Sn interfaces. Although Bitmain does make good products too.

Of course both of us have run into that problem where if you have too many pools specified for the SP20 (is it 8?) it craps out and is a pain to recover. Maybe they've fixed that, but I haven't been following the firmware updates.

So if profitability is high enough to use WestHash, but WestHash is down due to a failure on their side, your miners will point at kano. That means you might miss out on WestHash/NiceHash profitability. My understanding is that WestHash and NiceHash share the same profitability, but different server hardware.

I'm using NiceHash as a backup to WestHash with the same profitability constant on the outside chance that WestHash goes down but NiceHash stays up.

Ah, I see. I missed the NiceHash 2% fee (and I had other math errors) when I first looked at your 0.016 number. It makes sense now.

I don't think he would be able to check the worker names on the pool if he hadn't registered them.

i would say 6 is getting close but not overheating just yet. Keep an eye on it. If it gets much hotter then it will throttle back

your volts are set pretty high. 110c is not that bad.  I was interested in your cost per kwatt.   

with a volts at 0.677 or 0.682   the sp20  has less efficient watts per gh.

is your power at 6 cents a kwatt?

I'm running 3 SP20's and here is how my first 3 pools are set up:

stratum+tcp://stratum.westhash.com:3334#xnsub   PW is  p=0.0160
stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3334#xnsub   PW is p=0.0159
My 3rd pool is a P2Pool pool.
My question is, I have 3 miners, all set the same for the first 2 pools, but this particular miner is picked up by nicehash once every day or 2, but when I look at the "Price BTC/TH/Day", the highest price is 0.0137.  So why is my 0.0159 getting picked up?  And why not my other 2 miners with the exact same parameters?
I'm so confused!!!

did you give each miner a unique miner name that fits their style (a different wallet or it should be miner's name following same wallet after period or _ )?

Suggestion: Managing a small number of SP20's at the moment, and love the page at http://start.spondoolies-tech.com/ to set them up and monitor everything.

What I would appreciate is if there was some way to include the hostname or some other machine-specific information on that page.

Using DHCP is the easiest way to manage things, but it's presently not possible to tie an IP address to any machine-specific information (beyond name or fw version #)

eg: At the pool, I can see that a worker named SP2005 has gone down, but I have no idea which physical machine that is by looking at the start page and seeing all the IP's.

New amazing feature in 2.5.54
If you set in your pool user something like:
your0wallet0address0something_%%m...%%v...%%i
it will save it in cgminer.conf.template and then whenever cgminer starts dynamically creates cgminer.conf adress like this:
your0wallet0address0something_SP35...2.5.54...10.102.20.25
The nice thing is that now it is dynamic, so when you change IP or FW it will update the pool username. If you don't want username to change - don't use this feature. But be careful - if you have /etc/cgminer.conf.template on your machine DONT MANUALLY EDIT /etc/cgminer.conf, since it will be overwritten first time you run cgminer.
