I finally got one of these SP20's ordered up! I hope it lives up to Philip's praises I was hoping that I had a single PSU to run it, but now I am not so sure? I have several LEPA 1600's sitting around and some Corsair 1200AXi's. I suppose maybe dual CX750's would do the trick. I got my SP20 last month and have been running it on 2 CX750M's. Let me know if you want me to try any settings with it before deciding which power supply you are going to go with.

I've been going back and forth on whether to order these or the antminer s4.. My main concern has been the power supplies.. I have a couple of evga 1300 g2's.. I'm assuming you can run one of the sp20s on one 1300, but what kind of speed do you get and will the cabling on the g2's handle the constant load.. Im running 240v.
I had evga 1300's I had s-3's so the upgrade path was easy .. I run 5 s-3s and 5 sp20's I sold off some of my s-3's to make the room for the sp20's You guys made me so so jealous...so i had to sell three S-3 (they still have nice bid in US) and bought one SP20 to try it out. Among all of this info deluge nobody EVER posted dB vs watts in downclocking. Is it only relevant for me? I doubt it, but will have to experiment myself. If it is good, I can host four SP20 on two 15A/120V circuits, which would be awesome. I don't think I will make money (in BTC), but don't really care because it basically became a hobby and coinbase makes it seamless to go dollars-bitcoin-order in bitcoins, so you never basically have them, just order in $$.

i'm going to put this out there now: if it's hashing at a good rate, don't look too deeply into the ASIC stats. the SP31 i received today has a bunch of low volt ASICS, but it's still performing at 4.7TH/s... if i wanted to, I could gradually up the voltages and get them to sit green but as far as i'm concerned, there is no need - it's performing 200TH/s above advertised spec. i'm presuming it's probably just the ambient temperature in which i'm running it. i wouldn't be overly concerned if I were you, however, I know Phil likes to go in depth, so he may be able to assist if you really want to get deep into the rabbit hole.

True ... I have SP30s at http://toom.im/ and a SP31 that show many yellow ASICS ... keep calm and mine on ... they work fine! ... not that I get 200Ghs over as you are. Need a drink ... single malt would do

hmm, i'd offer but i fear Devon is a tad of a long drive in this weather.
7 hrs 47 mins ... 461.3 miles apparently. The two SP20s I have underclocked also show a few yellow numbers but the stats cost per Ghs is good.

It won't restart until you raise the volts a bit.
