My qora wallet stoped work always see that no conection, where is problem?

same on my wallet ... no new blocks since 2 days ... :-(

probably on a fork, the block explorer is.

shut down client then download the latest data folder, overwrite existing files in data folder, start client back up and resync from there.

ninja edit : you may actually want to go back to the next to last version listed there.

Yes, you have to load the forelast ... block 73288, that will work

So here's a quick update --

Unfortunately, my message to BigVern hasn't yielded anything.    After 2 days, I have yet to hear from the big man...

So I'm guessing it's probably a dead end.  Direct contact is probably not the best way to do it (which is understandable, consider the amount of requests he's getting every day).

And... I've got a question for you guys...

Looks like there is a good chance BTER will re-open the exchange for trading.. If that ever happens, will you guys consider going back to BTER to trade?  

To tell you the truth, BTER has always been my favorite exchange.. Deposits/Withdrawal have always been super smooth, and really love the interface...

So in regard to whether I'll withdraw all my coins, I'm kind of sitting on the fence right now...  And you know, it has been the primary exchange for Qora for a long time..

So what do you guys think?  Should we give BTER another chance?

Probably. It's no riskier than any other centralized exchange (or is it? two "hacks" now).

Don't put more money than you can afford to lose on any exchange at one time.

Hopefully, pretty soon we won't have to worry about the exchanges any longer.

2. MapDB crashes because of multithreading issues. Threading logic in Qora should be checked (I suppose it's buggy).

Dear Qora Leader,

I've prepared a short report for you.. I'd just like to give you a summary of things that had happened while you were on vacation.

Start of Report...

1. Qora's primary trading site - BTER was hacked (lost over 7K bitcoin), and it will most likely go out of business.  Meanwhile, Poloniex has frozen Qora trading due to wallet (database crash) issues.

Now we're left without a trading site for Qora.    Please Help Us! (Note: Tristen from Polo has tried to contact you).

2. A couple of Qora members had deduced that the Polo's database problem was a result of MapDB's Memory-Map issue. Multi-threading logic most likely needs to be reexamined and refactored to get around nmapenabled() call.

3. Most stuffs for the next version of Qora wallet have been done and ready to be integrated (Pondsea's Wallet Design, VBCS's AT and First Atomic Trading sample).  We also realized that that some of the code (database and threading logic) need to be restructured in order for Qora client to work flawlessly on 32-bit system.

4. We're trying to get on more exchanges at the moment, so it'd be great if you could put the old Qora site back.

5. As DeMap had noted, the GUI source has not been released, so do some of the native libraries. Could you do something about that?
