Is there an Nvidia miner for this yet?

Not an optimized Nvidia miner but the miner that wr104 made does work.

Thanks, I searched around and couldn't find this, is a source or precompile available?

It's in the OP: https://github.com/kryptohash/cgminer-khc/releases

I can't remember which one exactly works for the Nvidia card with multiple gpus. I put mine on something else for now as the 750ti's was only getting about 50 kh/s but the 970 gets about 150 kh/s with the cgminer. I am hoping that when wr104 gets sgminer going it will work better.
Looks like that's AMD only, maybe I'm missing something but checked the readme and install guides and tried it out.

It does work for Nvidia just not the best but it works. Like I posted in the quote the speeds I got on my 750ti ' s and 970.

You need to put in the number of Cuda Cores for the shaders.

I'm on Linux and getting this when trying to compile from source, all the premades were for Windows it seems.

make[2]: Entering directory `/home/cgminer-khc'

Oh sorry about that. I just assumed you was running Windows.

I have no idea about getting it going on Linux.

It seems you didn't run the configure with the right flags or, you are missing the AMD APP SDK.  Download the APP SDK from here: http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/opencl-zone/amd-accelerated-parallel-processing-app-sdk/

Then run:

      autoreconf -fvi
      CFLAGS="-O2 -msse2" ./configure --enable-opencl --enable-kryptohash
      make
      strip cgminer.exe

Thanks, someone had said it was for Nvidia cards, so that would explain it not working =)

It does work with nVidia cards but, you are not going to get the same performance seen with AMD cards because, nVidia architecture favors Floating Point over ALU and hashing performance is directly related to the number of ALUs available in the GPU.

Not really a bad thing, give the folks that don't have a lot of hash power an opportunity to get some blocks.  Also might have something to do with an 11 satoshi bid on the new exchange, that tends to scare off the dumpers.  People that are in it for a quick buck aren't really attractive to the community anyway.

If this wallet was built upon an earlier version of the BTC wallet I'd say that is true, this coin has in fact only forked over problems implementing the PID diff calc and people that didn't update their wallets as instructed.

So you are saying the network difficulty manipulates the 320bit hash?

I mean it's much more easier to launch a 51% attack with low net hashrate.

Thus is true, but that only means someone could get more blocks and does not affect the security of the blockchain, presently the only pool in existence is running at -8.2MH/s where as solo miners account for about 1/3 of the total network hash rate.  View the blocks solved on the pool and note that there are gaps in there that solo miners are getting.  Also take into account that anyone has the ability to mine on the pool.  It is the miners choice in the matter, same can be said for any coin out there.

I've added the two exchanges to the OP.

I will release the new cgminer-khc tomorrow.  I'm still debugging a couple of issues.

New cgminer-khc v3.7.6 Beta3 available.

https://github.com/kryptohash/cgminer-khc/releases/tag/v3.7.6-Beta3

Changes since 3.7.6 Beta2

- Added the '--cl-opt-disable' option that disables OpenCL optimization for kernels. Disabling it could significantly increase performance of the kshake320 algorithm on some high end AMD GPUs with GCN architecture, like the HD7970 and the R9 200 series. (Tested using AMD 14.12 Omega Drivers).

   Example:
      cgminer --kryptohash --kernel kshake320v2 --cl-opt-disable -o http://127.0.0.1:38912 -u user -p password --shaders {xxx} --shaders-mul {yyy}

- Added back the GPU Intensity parameter.

Important Notes:

1) Disabling OpenCL optimization doesn't guarantee better performance on every AMD GPU.  nVidia GPUs were not tested.

2) Every time you add/remove the '--cl-opt-disable' switch, ensure you also delete the old 'kshake320-546-uint2{GPU_NAME}v1w256i4.bin' file in order to allow cgminer to recompile the OpenCL kernel.

Your 5970 is VLIW5. I don't think disabling CL optimization will help on this GPU.   I know that on my 6850 with VLIW4, the option doesn't help.

The switch only helps if you have an AMD GPU with GCN architecture, like the R9 200 series.

My R9 290x went from 205Kh/s to 348Kh/s.

@ wr104

Quick test on GTX970 with the --cl-opt-disable crashed the driver.

Will play with it more later when I get back in.

EDIT: Huge speed increase in the 280X without the  --cl-opt-disable.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink
