I pm'd him a month or 2 ago and he said its still being actively developed. Response was very quick.

Sorry but this isn't good enough.
There are people coming in the slack trying to pretend they got responses from him with insider information and no one can prove it.

Even if he said it's still in development, that isn't saying much if he won't even come on the thread and explain what's going on or message people who have been following the project since the early days.

Have you ever considered that it could be your aggressive attitude that the Dev doesn't respond to?

This guy seems as genuine as they come. There is no reason to slap him down and call him out because you don't believe him.

I think if anything, out of all the people here, I've been among the most patient. It's only very recently that I lost my sense of humor about this.

Trust me when I say: the nice, polite emails and messages have all been tried with no response. And not just by me, I get BCC'd in some of those messages and people have really taken the time to try and get the dev to come and tell us something.

I'm understand this FUD, people waiting for years, people missed a lot of others pumps ... and silence from developers.
But what I can't understand, who's buying this coin during last 3 months with huge green candles sometimes even for hundreds btc in one order for price much higher from market?

This is literally the primary reason I still hold some VTR lol.... I figure someone knows something I don't and is happy with the cheap coins. Repeatedly. For months.

It's very odd. You can't even construe it as someone profiting or manipulating the market, there is no way to spin it except for whoever that buyer is, they are continually losing money - the question is why, and I'm willing to hold a wee bit to find out the conclusion to this mystery! Invest accordingly because it's entirely possible it's some speculator like me that thinks he knows better, but actually knows nothing. But the frequency, persistence, and the sheer number of VTR purchased... man that'd be a real ballsy move for someone without legit insider info.

From what I can see, what you've described is the ONLY reason to want to buy VTR right now. That's the only sign of life.

JPMorgan Integrates Zcash Privacy Tech Into Quorum Blockchain

https://www.coindesk.com/jpmorgan-integrates-zcash-privacy-tech-enterprise-blockchain/

Someone really does know something we don't. All of a sudden people want to add Z Cash privacy features to their chains.

VTR devs came out with that idea about the same time as JPMorgan partnered with Z Cash devs.

Doesnt bag holders worry that the only exchange this is traded on is Bittrex?

If Bittrex delists VTR or Bittrex is shutdown for whatever reason there is no trading for VTR and other exchanges won't list something that has been dead in development nothing to show for this long.

Yeah that's a concern, but the volume has been enough for them to profit off the market, and so it will stay. If volume dries up it's screwed.

What concerns me more is BitTrex's behavior recently of silently banning thousands of accounts, revoking previously accepted verification levels, and not saying a damn thing about it for days while everybody panics. I moved all my funds off of Trex and there's a decent chance I don't return based on this recent behavior. Shameful to be purposefully silent while taking such drastic moves.

I'm holding on for the long shot either way but tbh those two responses are just the same ol same ol, nothing new, could be complete BS. I'd guess they've got about another month before Trex moves to delist if we stay under 10 BTC/day for too long.

Sorry, but this isn't evidence. Anyone can forge a screenshot like that.

Dev, if you are really still here and want that account back, you need to sign a message using an address you have proved you own at a previous date.

All the info is here in one of the oldest, locked forum posts on bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

Please do this and show us you are still committed to this project.

Agree, an official announcement for the dev himself.
Not some just 'I pm'd dev and got this'.

I agree with you but that's all we got. If I wanted to forge it the news would be better, believe me. Dev should share his public gpg key and it would all be much easier. If you want you can ask him by yourself, his email address is not a secret. I have sent him slack invitation and asked him to join.

Just to note that I also received the same email. The only difference between that email and the one I received is that mine mentioned zCash.

There is a bit of hostility towards the approach I've taken with this project, which while I can fully understand, doesn't make me really want to get involved too much. I'm not quite sure how to proceed, as people want answers, but when they get answers that they don't like it is easy to point the finger at me. I was quite open in my previous postings leading up to the pump that this project received and I gave all the appropriate warning signals, which is when I decided to reduce my holdings, however, because of this people think I'm just trying to sabotage the future of the project.

All I have to say is, you chose to buy into this project yourself, you should've done your own research. Just because someone pushes for answers and you don't get a big bag of money, you should be looking at yourself and your strategy when it comes to cryptocurrency projects. It's super easy to make me a scapegoat, but you should have been reading into the proceedings of this thread a bit more critically.

FWIW, that email comes from a gmail account and my email is gmail-hosted, so its basically cryptographically signed and if it was worth the level of effort to prove the signatures then I'd do it. Short answer: that email came from whoever controlled the gmail account.

Erm... who is making you a scapegoat? What? Where is the "hostility" you speak of? Are people bombarding you with PMs or something?

What's Helium? I don't think VTR dev have anything to do with it.

Last email I received from vtorrent.crypto@gmail.com is the same message, "they're working on zCash implementation."

Can you provide me the link to their website and also do you have any links that would teach me how to mine this coin? I was actually impressed by the graphics and would like to see this be successful someday.

Honestly i do not understand all this silence from the developers of this coin.

It means that you'll be able to seed torrents, get money for it and be fully anonymous. IF they are really working on it.

NextTrade when did you receive the message?
