wow. this game be like "why I don't trade" !

Wait a second... You just hold (and buy more) when it goes down, right? ... And you have the audacitiy to ... I don't even ... you bloody ...

dnaleor, any chance you could add the following two cells:

(1) 'market baseline: all USD'. Forever set to 100$, the starting position when the game began.

(2) 'market baseline: all BTC'. Forever set to 0.2857 BTC, the BTC position (worth 100$) a "hodler" would have held at the beginning of the game. (That's assuming a ~350 USD per coin price on the day you started this thread).

Sorry I meant like that day trading thing - like what we doing here - I'm terrible at it! (as evidenced by my in game balance)

Well... compared to the 100$ starting position, everyone is terrible at it.

Even the no.1 position doesn't beat a "stay the fuck out of Bitcoin" strategy yet Cheesy

sell at 196.48$

0.4904 BTC * 196.48$ = 96.353$

Locking profits, just in case

Would it be too much to ask  to add a column with the initial amount the person started trading
There might be people who actually have made a few $ , highly unlikely that everyone there is a failure as a tarder

Buy at 181.27$

96.353$ / 181.27 = 0.5315 BTC

Buy at 181.27$

96.353$ / 181.27 = 0.5315 BTC

you keep using 4 digits for BTC Tongue
I use 5 in the excel sheet, so meanwhile (with rounding and all that) you have 0.53164 BTC

I noticed it diverging a few days ago Wink

Good luck, can't bring myself to sell yet as BTC looks so oversold that a crazy bounce trapping all the bears could happen at any moment. I guess I've been too conditioned to stay in coins by default unless I am positive a drop is imminent. Not a very good strategy lately. Undecided

damn it, this rally was ONE hour too early for me. Now I'm trapped in a loss position...

Waiting for a small pullback to buy back with minimal loss/break even
