It is sucker game. As long as every trade has to be "all in" it is only question of time when you make an error.  => Playing by game rules there is only one result => every one have to only lose.

Buy at 210.58$

Huobi started the pump, now Huobi wants to get me bull trapped - in game, because I didn't buy yet for real.
Good, someone else will get the 1st position, I was starting to feel uncomfortable.

You are $20+ from anyone else catching you, so I don't think it will happen  Shocked You are just messing up the median, so these new players get more starting money then they should  Wink
A single player can't mess up the median. That'd only work with an average.

BTW, am I really lower than the median right now even though I only executed a single trade upon joining (buy @198) and the price is higher? Admittedly I haven't thought about the implications of how it works yet, but it's weird to have less money than a player joining now even though I have a (currently) profitable trade.

some people joined when the median was higher. also other could have boght lower than you with the same amount of USD and catshed the rally better. But don't worry, I was in one oif the 3 lowest positions and now i'm above median in a couple of days.

edit: and at current prices, you are only 1.2 USD below median, that's not much.

Just surprised because I was actually above the median last time I looked. I can't even think of a way to explain a decrease from then on. Those median dynamics are confusing. Shocked

Yeah, it's no issue, I'm certainly not complaining, just confused. Cheesy

Edit: Actually it should be possible if multiple people below median caught lots of volatility recently (multiple trades) and raised it. I've only been HODLing so far.

BTW, assuming the game started on 12th December, we have actually outperformed the market because Bitcoin suffered a 40% loss since then.

well, if some people are in USD and others in BTC, they can rise and fall in the ranking, that has something to do with it.

Exactly. That's why I asked for the two baselines.

Right now it is the following ranking I think: USD hodl > traders collectively > BTC hodl Tongue

It would have been a decent gain if I would have woken up 30 minutes earlier, this happened to me before, I panic sold close to the bottom of a small dump.

I would like to join to the game.

The median score was at the moment you posted this message: 73.52 USD
You have at the moment your full balance in USD.

Happy trading!

Thank you.
