Sorry to bother but when you say fixed RPC mining, does that mean a version is out right now?  Or you mean coming in next release, the one on the main page is sill from the 9th.

Fancy wallets don't make technology work, in fact a lot of the coins with fancy looking wallets turned out to be scams because it apparently attracts investors, just like poo and flies.

So in your mind a copy paste wallet is a much better idea to attract investors?

Yes. And I'll tell you why: it looks stable and reliable. Nice and fast GUI is better than classic one. But classic is better than ugly wallet looking very unstable and coded just to be coded.

Best regards.

Innovation is needed for crypto to evolve. Classic wallets are classic wallets.

Let me get this right.

Dev is continuously around giving updates.
Working hard to achieve the goals he has set.
Bringing something different to the crypto game.
Changes things according to community views.
Honest to the point of moving the pre-mine to an exchange to avoid other problems.
Assists people when they are in need and helps try to identify the problem.

I could go on more but I think my point is coming across. The dev is doing all this and I'm sure has a home/personal life as well. So just for the sake of argument people are upset because he was innovative and changed the look of the wallet. While I am happy to say, there are hundreds of coins with the generic wallet and no progress at all from June 2013. Feel free to go to those coins. Also, if you wait long enough you will be able to jump in to another ICO scam. Enjoy that party.

I and I am sure many others will happily stay and support this coin and it has hope.

Look over there...

Progress update.

Starting monday the new client will be available for download.

The delay is to try find a pool that will host us, this is because when a CPU coin is easily mined via RPC, then some people are likely to throw some serious hash at it. To keep all miners in the game, a pool becomes essential.

Banking interface and some parts of the original code are clashing badly, to deal with this without delaying update, i may require people to manually send requests loan requests.

Because the Bank is only now starting, I will not be accepting loans from major holders until i prove the system is stable. Right now my immediate concern is to complete the banking code, so account management code will only be activated when i figure it out.

To make manual loan request

1) You need a trust rating above minimum

2) Send exactly 10.01 BCR to the bank address, Bank node (only one for now) alerts me every 6 hours when there is a queue of requests

3) Wait for manual confirmation and response, if you are approved you get your loan, if you are not, you 10.01 will be sent back.

Primitive, i know. But let's take it one step at a time to avoid major problems.

This may have been mentioned already and I have forgotten. How does the trust system get based? As in what do you do to improve or harm your rating.

Keep up the good work.

The metric is mostly blockchain based for now, i fear external data sources may be manipulated.

1) How long has your wallet been active on the network.
2) How much do you transact (tx frequency)
3) How much do you use your wallet( tx count )
4) Wallet Balance

later on i will add

1) how many blocks mined (this is crucial, we need network support in the form of hashrate so contributing to the upcoming P2Pool will gain you massive trust boost)
2) Default 10-20% trust for those who will participate in ICO (they are basically supporting the project)
3) Previous Banking Tx lookup ( available on my node and very very dirty )
4) How much have you held in total

All in all this is combined with mining stage to provide a crude calculation of how much you contribute to tyhe overall health of the system. That is your trust rating. Your Credit rating (temporarily disabled) will  use your trust rating plus additional tx data such as the size of your transactions, what % of them where with Banking nodes and whether you have outstanding loans.

How to improve your rating

1) Join mining pools, p2pool to be exact
2) Buy ICO (if you'd rather be mining something else)
3) Use the coin, having a big balance that never moves around won't get you more trust, but a big balance that does move is worth more
4) (much later) Apply to be a banking node, banking nodes have default trust rating of 1.

While initially  the system is centered around me, with each passing month, a lot of things will go full automatic, and once we mature the lending system, banking nodes will be made available to accounts with highest trust rating. This is because the eventual system will have you being able to chose which bank you wish to use, ie each banking node becomes a separate bank on it's own.

A lot of this is fluctuating as i become more and more aware of the blockchain and the data it can provide without compromising anonymity and privacy that comes with satoshi modeled systems. My coding skills aren't the best, so you'll see hacks and some incomplete stuff, but i try my best to do it right.

As i always say, it's mostly in the cloud, but my hands write a few dozen lines of useable code per day, so just wait on it. Sometimes i scrap entire files when i come up with better implementations, but i'll always keep you updated and at least one good usable feature comes with every update.

For now the Pseudo anonymity that come with BTC is adequate, I will pursue some of the new technologies later for normal transactions, but please note that this will be incompatible with banking. So you may have to maintain separate wallets to enjoy the benefits of both systems without affecting your trust rating.
