and joining uberpays multi Altcoin Wallet and two alternatives with the same kind of technology (electrum-server)

Lets discuss if somebody thinks different but i prefer multicoin wallets (these, chosen ones are decentral and open source)
before developing a singlecoin one, because I, for example, dont like to fill my phone with 10th of wallets. Also this
approach has the advantage, that with joined forces these wallets can a) build and b) join payment services much easier, because the
service has just to deal with electrum and you make agreements for the wallet, not the coins. So we can get shapeshift and geopay for
example, with joining uberpay and coinomy (both are technical the same but have added different services)
and doing so, we have gained some time to develop own solutions to add.
Why is it decentral? Because the electrum server can just like a node get setup by anyone in the community
and join the coins network and add services  he likes. If we manage to port the original electrum wallet,
witch is then not that difficult, we would even get our own decentralized mobile market.

I am delighted that Bittrex looks allready much better today.
For everybody who thinks of helping and keeping Bittrex alive (just in in case its needed), here is a magical number:

0.2 BTC per day

.... is the volume, that Bittrex requires, in order to keep a coin listed. We have been able to generate this volume for *10 month now
(witch is a nice achievement, given how tiny we have been 10 month ago, congratulations to you, lets keep it up like this )
That means, to keep bittrex in save heaven, it is wise to spread some trading activities, and to have some spare BTC just in case.

So to be clear, what i am explaining here is NOT a Trading Tactic, its a maintenance tactic just in case we would need it,
to stay on Bittrex if the volume would have less then 0.2 BTC.
Goal of course is not to have to do anything to help volume, but to generate enough intersted people and my promise:
I do my very best to keep our community growing (anyway) as fast as possible.
Despite from keeping an eye on this number,  i am of course happy about as much trading as possible.
In fact the more we trade, the faster we we have the power to progress with anything we do.
For example the better the volume, the more payment providers like to see us.
And in return your trades are enjoying, an increasing value, because the progress we can make.
Thats the feedback loop, that very quickly, if proper managed, turns coins into legents!

that we not only managed to transient to a new major release
and to set us apart, visually and technically, from ERC's former life as a scam-coin ...

but can also experience, that this time a barrier broke down and
the crypto-communitys ice, after 12 month of hard work is finally melting.
Its the first release, that generates some attention.
And the first release that is being reflected by the trades on the exchange.

There couldn't be anything more rewarding than this.

I used only the non-install version 2 of the windows wallet (just the DLL's).
I extracted the ZIP file and started europecoin from the extracted directory. Didn't change anything from the previous config.

That worked for me:
No resync, clear or whatsover. Starting europecoin from the extracted directory and the 850241 block was easily processed.

Did you rename your original wallet.dat file and remove everything else from the %appdata%\Europecoin\ directory?

You start it with absolutely nothing.  When the new wallet is in sync, you replace the new wallet.dat file with your original one.

No I didn't rename wallet.dat. I just made a copy of wallet.dat just to be sure. 
I didn't remove anything or cleared any directories.
Even the old DLL's are stil in the orginial directories.

I just unzipped the download without installer and started europecoin from the unzipped directory.
That's all and it's working fine since then.
Even staking is no problemo.

a quick report from progress

of the press campaign and from my efforts around the ROKOS staking distro.

I have today had some talks with several startup festivals to choose some for our next device.

As i told, i like to, not only provide integration into the ROKOS Linux distribution, but a complete  preconfigured device,
that enables even average users, to use a full node, energy friendly and INTERNET OF THINGS ready hardware staking device.
And i want him, to enjoy a more user friendly interface then average coin wallets

So i have kick-started the creation of a new startup to get this device done.

also the first brief calculations are ready,
so the will be a new product, its name will be

EUROKBOX

The fresh startup
is planned to boot with an alphaversion three month after the ROKOS Operating system is published
and will go another three month later in production.

talks will be during the next week. i will keep you up to date
as always ...

Funny but true, but after one year, our takeover is still not known to everybody.
