the leveraged risk thing is a cool feature but i think it puts the site on self-destruct mode. all it takes is a nakowa to enter the ring and things could be wiped out pretty easily since it seems like there has been a +leveraged arms race, lol.

It only puts those who use the feature at risk, not the whole site. You are free to not use 'leverage'.

Nope. Some might, but you don't really need max bet if you have max profit limit. The latter is what really matters to operator/investors. Max bet would be tricky to set up, ie. if it was only 10 BTC, player could bet at x999 and win more than the entire site bankroll, therefore capping max profit is more sensible solution.

PrimeDice has a weird way of doing it. They have a "max payout" of 30 BTC. So if you're betting at 49.5% (2x) the max bet is 15 BTC, but if you're betting at 98% (1.02x) the max bet is close to 30 BTC.

That seems like a really bad idea. There's lots of money to be made (by the house) allowing people to risk 1000 BTC at 98% to win 10 BTC. They will almost always end up losing the 1000 BTC before they win the 10 BTC a hundred times.
