6500+BTC, how do you know?    If i were him, I would never gamble because I have 6500 btc, I can afford anything, even a small jet.

If i had that kind of btc i wouldn't bet big lol, i'll bet small amounts probably lower than .5 btc.

I'd like to know this too. I liked my 5x Kelly investment, and I think it should still be offered as people should know about the risks by doing that and maybe want greater risk for greater reward.

About this guy who won 76 BTC - but people are noticing only the highest win a streak, but I counted total win/loss from that screen alone.
So before that big win, lost 123 BTC and he was on a losing streak, then he probably got angry and decided to go high.

It's an interesting situation. 

The highest wagers can be made at BetKing because of how it's setup and because Dean has been trustworthy with the funds.

It allows Betking to have an amazing amount of volume (despite a small amount of total bets) and attracts the largest whales, but the variance for investors is incredibly high. 

Luckily it has performed extremely well above its expectation.  Over-leveraging and a bit of a lucky streak from a whale could obliterate the site, so imo it's fine enough where it's currently set.

I actually will probably reduce it again soon. We want to maintain the largest max bet in the business but there's no need for larger risk.

The leverage system was great to give people the option of only putting a small amount of Bitcoin on the site and so not need to trust me with all their coins but no one used it for that, they want the largest share of bankroll so put all their money on 10x anyway!

I used it for exactly that reason and the same with justdice to diversify my total investment in bitcoins, But I might be a outlier.
It's a shame other investors need to be nannied and ruin it for the rest of us.

Actually had this discussion with someone a couple days ago. The issue with variable kelly is some (dare I say most) are going to go max. because the risk of ruin is still low, so those who wouldn't go max. end up doing it so they won't be diluted. It's a vicious cycle. And this is coming from someone who absolutely, 100%, every time goes max. I trust the math in the long run.

For sites with a smaller BR, this means a high kelly is probably great to allow slightly bigger players. If a big player wins, personally I would still add some extra funds back to the site in that situation.

For sites with a bigger BR, this means a high kelly is just gonna make insane high max profits and potentially risky situations (because investor probably trusts the site with a bigger % of his own personal BR - making max profit bets more risky for that investor.) Also those risk situations should "almost never" happen (because max profit is so high), making it more appealing for investors.

I've started investing on Betking and I was wondering why I couldn't change the Kelly value: after doing some research I've found out why. I completely agree with you. I think I would have started way more than 4x if I could have had such a possibility.
After some weeks of investment and following site stats I agree that's a good value on the long run.
