Hi,

I have made a bunch of upgrades to the Blockchain for look, usability, security, and increased rewards for holding PayCon and have launched a new ANN thread since the Muddafudda has expressed that he will be unable to take the Coin any further.

Please visit the new ANN thread at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=937480.0

Please upgrade your wallet before Block 50,000. All previous Versions will be rejected from the network 02/01/2015 @ 11:00pm (UTC)

In order to help the transition to run smoothly I have setup several nodes to connect to and if some extra people would like to host some nodes I am offering a bounty of 500 Con per node, please don't list nodes with balances.

Here is a guide on creating a .conf file in order to connect to nodes running on the newest version.

Quote
Go to Control Panel
In the Search box, type Folder
Click "Folder Options"
Click the tab that says View
Make sure there is no check in the box for "Hide file extensions for known file types" (de-select this option and click OK)
Exit Control Panel

On Windows 8, right-click the start button and select "Run"
(for Windows 7, left-click the start button and type "run" into "Search Programs and Files", then click Run at the top of the list)
In "Run", type %appdata% and press Enter
You should see the folder located at Appdata/Roaming
Open the PayCon folder
Right-click and Create New File - create a new Text document
Open the document with Notepad
Paste the following into the file: (but put a username and password instead of "username" and "password)

listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
rpcuser=*yourusername*
rpcpassword=*yourpassword*
rpcport=43521
port=43522
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=107.170.179.27
addnode=162.243.155.75
addnode=104.131.26.81

Save the file.
Re-name the document PayCon.conf (filetype .conf, not .txt)
Restart your paycon wallet.

the best last pool for PayCon .work now . very good profit.
all go to that last pool.

PayCon is Proof of Stake only, all POW mining is over now so there is no profits.

Try to post on the new OP https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=937480.0 instead of here

Muddafudda isn't updating the OP here and the wallet on the first page is version 1.0.2 and not usable on the current network.

paycon sucks dont buy this crap  POS coins you never will make money its worser then gambling.
Ive seen  it to in snowballs mmxiv and other crap pos coins reallly i was 3 months in that. and lost alot btc.

That is because those Coins have uncapped, high interest over 1000% so the money supply compounds along with the interest and inflates faster and faster over time. PayCon has a Static reward of 30 Coins per block so the inflation is no different than the same way BTC operates except you have much less sell pressure and Staking is more profitable for holders since it doesn't require massive energy bills. The amount of Coins produced per day is 43,200 and as time goes on that amount in relation to the money supply means that interest reduces over time.

The wallet on this thread won't work with the current network, it is version 1.0.2 and current wallet version is 2.0.0

I like the challenge of debate and you are welcome to head over to the newest thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=937480.0

It is the highest volume Coin on C-Cex, also on Yobit and Cryptopia which has it's own marketplace so you can also buy and sell stuff in CON. 7 major releases in 6 months, including a massive list of new features, design revamps, security and Staking improvements and most recently full TOR integration.

Original wallet

New wallet including theme's

Also full interactive Block Explorer.

and marketcap continually increasing over time.

Allright tell me about that major updates maybe i can make a quikflip?
But still i know whats gonna happend at the end.
No but really you got my attention i wanna hear about updates

First update was a hardfork that completely changed the rewards at the end of the POW cycle and a change to the minimum difficulty, from 50% per year to 30 Coins per Block static, the change to the minimum difficulty was increased because the difficulty was so low that Stakes would try to hash too quickly. Later additions to Staking was an inclusion to a minimum time (atleast 10 seconds before another Stake can be included), as well as LiteStake which I had help from presstab to implement which drastically reduces the CPU load. As far as I know PayCon is the only other Coin in which has the LiteStake feature. Further POS alterations was an increase of the minimum Fee to match the new rewards and a reduction of the time drift from 30 minutes down to one minute which effectively closes possible time warp exploits.

Features added or things changed
-Fixed the IRC chat
-Added links to all exchanges, links to the PayCon youtube channel, Forum link to the PayCon section on the Gethashing forums
-SplitBlock - SplitBlock allows you to take a single Block or multiple Blocks of Coins and split them up into sizes of your choosing
-Stake for Charity and Multisend - Stake For Charity allows you to have up to 50% of your Stake sent to a single address, Multisend allows you to automatically send Stakes to as many addresses as you want.
-Refined estimated Staking times on minting notifications, estimated time to Stake, sorting by Weight and Age in Coin Control.
-Select Blocks in Coin Control less or more than an amount, age or weight
-Deleteaddress RPC and GUI
-Moneysupply RPC (relevant money supply growth information)
-setstakesplitthreshold (set the amount at which your Blocks will split when they Stake)
-combinethreshold (set the amount at which multiple Blocks will combine once older than max age)
-rescanfromblock
-repairwallet removes orphans
-Date range for sorting transactions (useful for viewing how many Coins you Staked on a given day, week or period)
-Coin Control RPC (use Coin Control on RPC and useful when using the daemon)
-Hashsettings RPC (adjust your time drift and hashing settings)
-getstaketx RPC
-getconfs RPC
-addnode RPC (add nodes through RPC)
-getweight RPC (view current weight)
-DNS seednode added so clients connect to the network without needing a PayCon.conf file
-TOR connection by default (hides all IP's and reroutes the entire network through TOR)
-6 Themes, icons and moving the menu to the left side for easier access

I think that's the majority of it, some small fixes as well so that you are not viewing orphans as part of balance, fix to unlock for Stake, addition of number of transactions to balances and probably some stuff I have missed.

Also 5-6 promotional videos, Slack channel, Facebook (although I don't have time to keep up to date with it) and also did Stake week and a massive giveaway on the Gethashing forums for all those who lost money on PayCoin (I bought and Staked until I had 16% of the Coin and gave all of it away which also created a much more decentralized network, increased difficulty and security of the network). You can view the giveaway here https://forum.gethashing.com/t/paycon-muggle-relief-fund-giveaway-may-1st-8th-2015/3158/602

All with no premine, fair launch.

Is there any website?

There was to begin with, Muddafudda had made a joke website but didn't keep it up, paycon.pw now redirects to Cryptsy lol. I've been wanting to create a new one but have been focused almost entirely on the Blockchain and the wallet itself because that is the thing that is the most important. There are the PayCon subforums as part of the Gethashing forums which is beneficial as well https://forum.gethashing.com/c/sub-forums/paycon

Still lots and lots I want to do.

can we expect paycon in bittrex ?

I don't like how Bittrex expects that someone needs to fork out 3 BTC to get it listed along with constant warnings about delisting Coins if they do not meet their volume requirements. To put it in perspective, the entire amount of money spent so far on development has been about 4 BTC (which is actually really good) so the question is who would pay for that 3 BTC and would that justify paying for it to be listed?
