Well that sucks your balance disappeared but dont panic, there are many fixes you can try and see if that work for you,

-Backup wallet
-download latest wallet and let it sync fully and replace with your wallet and see if the balance comes back or not
-try running wallet with -salvagewallet command
-try opening wallet with -reindex
-try repairwallet command and repair your wallet
-dump privkey and import privkey to new wallet

I am sure at least one fix mentioned above should fix your problem, so give it a try

I think your issue is wallet not syncing properly.... I am not familiar with hybrid wallet but classic qt wallets you can download chain deleting peers file everytime when sync stops until you bring wallet upto date with latest block so keep trying. I have same issues before and i was able to recover my coins with different options i mentioned earlier. And the last thing you can do is dump your private keys from old wallet and import it to new wallet that might help

Your "coins" are on the blockchain. Your wallet.dat file holds the keys to control them. So you shouldn't lose coins as long as you have that wallet.dat, even if it's "old".

Nope, not dead by any means.  At least this coin appears to be on the right track with legit work doing on behind it.  Price stagnant yes, but far from dead...it won't take much to fly and it wouldn't surprise me (manipulation or not) when it does take off.

Dr. Mike is done with it by the looks of it but he knew what the dev was doing behind the scenes (no idea re. coins but I assume he is holding his?  unless that was him dumping over the past few months?)...regardless, he's not promoting so whatever, xbs prob is better off without that crap. 

The dev still IS doing this work (join the #slack bitstake to find out what's up) and sure it'll be noticed in the bittrex price in time, but if/when they released what's planned it'll blow petty crypto price/scene out of the water.

The coin had/has nothing to do with DrMike, he only hyped it. We can only speculate for what reasons.

Dr Mike was a joke.. his effort was to dump on buyers by hyping and he did so when this coin hit 110k last time

This coin should return to its Highs 100-150K without any hype. The Dev's have always said their main concentration is getting the business up and running. They are right on track.. Keep up the good work..

A new wallet was released months ago, you are still using Bitstakebank which is probably on a fork.

Download the new wallet and move your wallet.dat to bitstake folder in the roaming data.

Note:
There's a different in the naming of the folder in the roaming data. Bitstakebank/bitstake

Looks like the swamp is just about drained. Getting close to time to head back into the 20-23k range while we wait for the news that'll send us to 40k.

Turned out to be a 17k-23.5k range, but hey, close enough. Next stop 40k. Then it's anybody's guess if it pulls back into the 20s or busts out to higher levels. To those who've been holding faithfullly the last couple months, sell a little slowly so you can rebuy more on dips, but don't sell too early. Your payday is coming.
