Damn, i had some more left Nvm, it was another good ride, lets hop to the next coin EDIT: Seems to work fine for me, just opened the client, synced, and i recieved some coins from the pool i was mining some days before how is it dead? Dead in market terms, they want to profit for this coin, this is why they are saying that BQC is dead. I want to profit too, from every coin(not from the new pump & dumps though). Market wise, yes its kinda dead but as soon as the exchanges open this will end

Hahah, even if someone makes "shitcoins" I bet ALL my coins (LTC/BTC/NMC/NVC/BQC/etcetc) that ppl will mine the hell out of it. (EDIT2: they WILL trade it also) EDIT: a of the kinda dead thing, since transactions happen there is a little interest. Little, but there is some. Hashrate gone crazy the last days, also buys/sells But i agree that there is not much interest (yet(?!))

BBQ is not dead, quit joking! just synced 24hrs of blocks in 20 sec's and got 9 active connections. diff is still nice and dropped only a little on a huge FC hypa, which means there is stable BBQ userbase.

You have to read MY thread for some context, these are BBQCoins bought from CaptChadd at auction so he is my wholesaler Thanks for helping set right any others I was confusing with that.

Why was the original BQC 51% attacked in the first place?

I will NEVER ask for any kind of funds up front in a buy/sale of anything on bitcointalk.

Hi guys, I've been trying to get bbqcoind to work on ubuntu and it's been driving me crazy, I basically got the same dependencies as for building litecoin and compiled it. It seems to actually run but no matter what I do I can't access it to use as a server for my miners. Anybody able to get it built and working right?

set rcpusername and rpcpssword. if you want to mine from a different host, add a new section to bbqcoin.conf with addnode=123.123.123.123 (replace with the IP of your miners). you can put addnode multiple timees into your conf file.

Well I got it working sorta...bbqcoind is now up and running, I was having some NAT issues since it was running on a virtual machine but they're finally sorted...now just waiting for it to download the whole blockchain. I tried to use a pre-downloaded blockchain but then bbqcoind flipped out because of the file permissions on them and I'm too lazy to go deal with the permissions so I'll just let it download the blockchain itself overnight.
Now I just need to modify p2pool to work with bbqcoind...I guess since nobody else has set it up before does that mean there's no bootstrap addresses to give p2pool?

According to what I read today, the reward for BQC doesn't change.
